INTELLOPY: Survival and Happiness in a Collapsing Society with Advancing Technology Paperback – September 30, 2021

At first the length of the book was a little challenging, however, as soon as I started reading I could not put it down. I am 76 years old and a retired school Superintendent from Nevada, currently living in Coffeyville, Kansas. We have two sons who are college graduates and this book was incredibly interesting and I have learned so much. Most of we seniors are somewhat intimidated by technology. However, we still have the right and responsibility to vote. We worry about our children and our grandchildren so we need to make wise decisions. This book helped me to better understand the history, the current issues and the future of technology. I highly recommend it.

I am concerned about what specific impacts Artificial Intelligence and our exploding technologies will have on our society, our privacy, and on the personal freedoms that we enjoy today. Mr. Kelly's book helped me understand and think deeply about the power of these advancing technologies. The book initially seems intimidating, but his depth of research & knowledge of these new technologies provides us with an invaluable tool to affect change in our lives and the lives of our future generations. Long, but worth it. This book forces you to think about how the future is shaping and how we can affect it now. The author does a good job of taking a complex topic and making it easily consumable and topical. This book bridges philosophy and technology - I believe it should be a staple read for those affecting the future of tech.

This book is extremely well researched and offers more novel insights than I can count. It covers a broad range of subjects that are tied together by the theme of the book in a way that motivates and enables one to think deeply about important issues.

Mr. Kelly does a great job of defining the world we are currently experiencing in terms of a complicated and evolving technology driven society. He then offers possible actions and reactions that are appropriate in response to many of our most pressing concerns.

Very interesting perspective on the psychology behind where technology has taken us and what the future may hold. Can't wait for the follow up books.

This book is excellent. JJ’s personal stories are so interesting and I learned so much from this book. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a laid back, easy read this is not it. If you want to stretch your mind and think, this is for you. I'm much younger than the author, but it still resonates. After many weeks of reading, i agree with 98% of what is said.
