These zip-lock bags work great with the Food Saver handheld vacuum. The zip lock function is solid, works well, and is easy to use. The suction valve appears to hold the vacuum over time. The reusable bag is super cost-effective in two ways. 1) No more expensive thermo-sealed bags are needed for frequently used items around the kitchen. 2) I live in a highly humid environment (Florida), and protection from moisture is the name of the game. We use them to store crackers, spices, chips, and other frequently used food products. The bags work well in the pantry and in the freezer.

We process wild and farm raised meat. We raise quail, and shoot wild hogs and deer. The original Reynolds hand held vacuum pump we bought years ago still works like new but the bags are no longer available in the grocery stores. We found these on Amazon and they are the best ever. They stay sealed, are heavy duty, and the pump works perfectly with them. They ship fast ... really fast. PS We have a high dollar Cabelas vacuum sealer that doesn't hold a candle to these & the battery operated hand held.

These bags are good quality but do not work well with the Chef Preserve sealer.

Used it to freeze bananas over a month ago and they are still yellow.

We've owned a Reynolds Handi-Vac Vacuum Sealer for many years but no longer had any bags to use with it. I searched and from what I could see Reynolds quit making them. Fortunately, there are other companies that make something similar. I was able to get the quart size I wanted and the price was fair for 18 bags. The most urgent need for them was that my son had purchased rain ponchos at Disney World for his family and was looking for a way to make them compact to take on future trips to use if needed. He fit 2 adult ponchos in one bag and placed his daughter's in another. The bags are durable and removing all the air made them hard as concrete! The ponchos packs take almost no room in a backpack or purse. Very satisfied! Will be putting some of the bags to use when freezing meat or other foods.

These bags are very durable and high quality. They seal easily and securely. My small hand held vacume removes the air quickly and they stay sealed. This is my second order becau they work great!

Super for sous vide and vacu-sealed everything!

The bags are thick but BAD DESIGN are lips are cut exactly equal lengths so difficult to separate to pry open and you need to use their tool to seal them: I wonder what happens if you loose it ?

I love this product and have them in several sizes. My only problem with them is that they are hard to open but that is probably good as it keeps them sealed.

I was looking for replacement bags for awhile for my Reynolds HandiVac but couldn't find. Finally found these. They work perfectly sealing tight as long as you squeeze the zipper until it seals like your supposed to. I'm so happy I didn't have to buy a new vac sealer. Oh one thing is like to mention. I put my items in baggies first and not close the bag. Then I put these into the Vacuum bag. That way I don't get the bag soiled inside and I can use the Vacuum bag 100s if times.

Will be ordering more. I love them. I am using them for the fresh produce in the crisper section eg cauliflower, broccoli, fresh corn on the cob, shallots/spring onions. Testing them with fresh parsley today.
