Not at all the same...
Bought the original many years ago a heavy perfume oil...it's scent has remained for well over a decade (still have 1/4 of the original)...so purchased this and it's a much thinner version (more alcohol I assume) and doesn't smell nearly as intoxicating in a good way. Needless to say I was a bit disheartened knowing I'll never find that original formulation again. =(
