I have a 3 month old that has recently discovered her mobile (and music box) and wants to be under it for 15-20 minutes at a time. With the wind up music boxes, that only gives you about 30-90 seconds of music before it stops on its own, and it's most often the same song. She would get upset when it turned off, I couldn't leave the room... it wasn't working for us. In comes the need for this one! I have been so happy with this one. It's fairly light weight, easy to use, and when you push the 'on' button - it runs for a full 30 minutes before automatically shutting off. It also has a number of different songs included so I'm not having to listen to the same lullaby over...and over and over again like I was with the wind up music box. Runs for 30 minutes and cycles through lots of songs. I would say my only complaint is the songs are extremely fast. For it being lullabies I wish it would have much slower and longer versions of the songs. Other than that we liked it. You can adjust the volume as well as what mode to have it on. It can spin without any music, spin and play music, or just play music.
