It's gorilla tape, what more is there to say, it isn't too expensive, it holds very well, stretches just enough when needed. Does leave residue but it is a strong tape, but it isn't too hard to clean. I'm personally using it to hold the chair I'm sitting in right now together and it isn't even noticeable compared to factory new. Great tape.

This tape is incredible. The material is very tough and durable and it sticks like crazy to a not very clean surface through direct sun and rain. And I mean for a long, long time. Some guy got in a fight with his girl friend, so he stopped, jumped out, went over to the nearest parked car (my wife's), got up on top and threw a tantrum jumping up and down on her glass sunroof which smashed it to pieces. No indoor parking spot and rain was coming. I freaked. Put some plastic tarp over the glass, used a lot of ductape and hoped for the best. In the morning, little rain but the ductape had completely come unglued. A neighbor lent me some of his Black Gorilla tape. I taped everything back in place on a slightly moist and pretty dirty surface and I didn't use much. Then the real rain came for several days. The Gorilla tape didn't give at all! Out of curiosity I tried peeling it back on one corner, but it was still there to stay, not going anywhere. It was out there for at least 6 mos through every kind of weather until I found the right glass. Now I peeled it off, but it was in no way ready to just come off -- it still held very, very tight as if I'd just taped it down. I buy it from Amazon now and consider it a 'must have' around the house, car, etc. If you need something very durable that will really hold, this is it. Incredible tape!

Gorilla Duct Tape lives up to its name. This stuff is tough! I've used it to patch a tub in my camper and even to hold things together in my car, and it hasn't let me down once. This stuff is super thick and amazing. Used it on the bottom of a hoof pad on a horse and it stays on and does the job. Wouldn't be without it for heavy duty jobs. Water proof. Use it for a million different things.

Nailed in place (metaphorically, of course, with tape). My dignity? Slowly being reassembled, one expertly taped repair at a time. I even used it to temporarily reattach a loose sole on my shoe, and frankly, it felt more secure than the original stitching. I'm pretty sure I could use this tape to hold the fabric of space-time together if I tried hard enough. The only downside? Once it's on, it's on. Trying to remove it is like attempting to convince a toddler to give up their favorite toy – messy, frustrating, and ultimately, you're probably going to lose. This stuff is STRONG !!!!! I used it to seal up a leaking sunroof on my Volvo XC60 and NO water has gotten in since. Even at 75mph on the highway and multiple times through a car wash, the tape has stayed in place.

I thought it would be much more sticky and adhere. The second a bit of dust was introduced, it wasn't. To be fair yes i know it cant have dust where it will be applied but i had just a little on my finger and the adhesion was gone. For how strong it is, im surprised it was easy to rip. It also rips pretty clean unlike duct tape. Id say its a fair enough deal. Its my first time trying gorilla tape but overall id say im pleased. I bet it works better on other things but i tried it for some automotive needs. Definitely want to try on other things and see the adhesion it can provide. And im curious for underwater as i think it is suppose to be waterproof. We'll find out one day. Better to buy this i suppose than in the store for a small roll and more money. In the store it was like 5-6 bucks for 10yd i think? same 1.88in, but here its 16 for 50. Soo store would have charged 5x5=25bucks plus tax for same amount. And i think 50yd is online only. Might be almost 6 bucks though, cant recall what it was at walmart for 6x5=30 plus tax.. yeah better off with this roll and keep it around.
