Fantastic piece of kit and one can shoot some super cool video with it. As I said in my review of that...if you're buying this as a selfie stick, it's a bit pricey for that. But for creative shots, it kills.The XL does everything the "regular" MicroJib 2 does...but adds that much more distance. It might not seem like much but a 60" pole held overhead adds BUNCHES of height. I think my "regular" MicroJib might be relegated to panning only.As with my other MicroJib, I've added a phone mount so that I can see what the camera in seeing. But after about 10 minutes in the waves, my GoPro ended up snapping while fully extended, and I lost my GoPro in the ocean. To spend 35$ and lose 750$ worth of product.... I would not suggest this as a purchase.
