Start! To Follow: How to Be a Successful Follower of Jesus Christ Paperback – September 15, 2012

Start! is by far the best Christian resource for new Christians. The easy-to-follow format and the comprehensive subject matter serves as the perfect book for a new Christian to either study on their own or with another Christian. We buy these in bulk when we can source them from Harvest. However, Harvest ran out of stock, so I was glad to get one through Amazon. We highly recommend this book and Harvest's New Believer's Bible as a companion.

You can trust ANYTHING Greg Laurie speaks or writes! His communication is saturated with the Gospel, and his Scriptural support is unparalleled. I have very special memories of Greg's preaching at The University of Colorado PromiseKeepers in the summer of 1994, as this PK event was part and parcel of my salvation as a 36-year-old man who desperately needed Jesus. Now, almost 20 years later, I am benefitting from START TO FOLLOW! I have a passionate desire for true disciple-making to take place in our church, especially since many churches SAY they are making disciples, when, in truth, they simply are not DOING so. You will be grateful that you picked up this book!

This book is great for new believers in Christ. It help them understand about how is God and his son Christ Jesus.

I used to watch Greg on television several years ago and enjoyed his teaching. I heard about this book from a newsletter from his ministry. I thought it sounded interesting so I have it a try. It is very well written and definitely needs to be in your book pile. I was inspired to walk closer with Jesus every chapter. If you're looking for a book that tells you to follow Christ to pump up your finances look somewhere else. This book challenges you to a real walk with God. Following Jesus because He is your Savior is the basic premise of this book. This isn't a feel good gospel message it's the real message. This book will encourage you and help you get on the right track to a real Christian life not the one the Armani suits on TBN try to sell you. If you're serious about getting closer to Jesus and really following Him read this book.

Wonderful way to really study the Bible. There are a lot of passages I never quite understood and this book has enabled me to really get immersed in scripture, and I have been reading the Bible for years.

I ordered these books thinking they were the fill in work books. They are not it seems they redid the entire book. Still a great book though. I use Pastor Greg Laurie Books all the time just didn’t know they redid it.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has recently accepted Jesus into their heart. Or someone who wants to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. Easy reading and mind opening.

This book is something I will treasure always. I have learned so much of what I thought I already knew! I love it so much that I even ordered another one for my kindle. Our women's Bible study did it as a summer study. Every Christian that is serious about their Christianity should read this and value it.
