VERY sticky so consider potential use carefully
These are not really ideal for many things you want to stick temporarily and retrieve regularly. I have one pad on the drawer of my desk (particle board) and it sticks really well, but putting my battery powered mobile hotspot device on the pad was a bad idea. The idea was to get it off the desktop and it's not heavy so it seemed a good candidate for a gel pad. Unfortunately I couldn't get it off the pad without it pulling the battery pack out of the back of the unit and then it was really hard to get the battery pack off the pad without damaging it. I had more success using the pad for things without a completely flat back surface and not pressing them against the pad firmly. It worked well for a couple of thumb drives that I only put on partially and a small remote. I could get the items off as needed and reattach them as needed. If you want semi-permanent attachment I have no doubt things with slick backs would stay attached well for a long time. Some of the items I expected to use the pad for aren't going to be suitable, but some other items work fine and can be affixed, retrieved and re-stuck multiple times with no problem. The pad pulled away a small amount from the desk wood surface when some strongly stuck items were pulled off, but did not come free and didn't have to be pressed down firmly again. Only time will tell how long I can stick odd items to the pad, pull them free and restick them before the pad needs to be pulled off the desk and washed off for reuse, but so far that looks like a fairly distant need.

Does the job
Good product, does the job. Beware of high moisture areas (steam) it loosens grip and device could fall. Other than that, no complaints

This thing’s amazing
These little pads are the truth!!! I bought these to hold my phone up in certain places and this is LEGIT! I have one on my kitchen cabinet and I place my phone there when I’m cooking to either view recipes or watch a show. I also have one in my shower because my son hates taking showers and this entices to watch his favorite shows while showering. You just have to wash them and let them dry to make them sticky again.

They're sticky gels.
It's a pretty simple product. You use it to increase friction grip between 2 surfaces. I use them for my flight sim stuff, it sticks a joystick and throttle to the desk pretty solidly, but it can still be pulled up and moved without much hassle. They're gel, so if you leave them out and uncovered they'll be coated in dust and detritus in a week. That's just the nature of this product, they can be rinsed off and re used.

Works as advertised out of the box. Still new though
So these work as advertised. I have no problem getting these to stick to just about any smoothish surface. After demoing one around the office and having it flung all over and getting covered in dirt I rinsed it off and after air drying it is back to original stickiness. Another reviewer pointed out losing stick over time. I will report back later after some extended use and give you my experience. These things are so fun I'm having trouble not buying a bunch more right away. Would make a great stocking stuffer or party favor type gift. Very practical and low cost.UPDATEIt has been 5 months and here are my impressions. These are neat, but not a life changer. My car's interior has no flat surfaces suitable for sticking my phone to. I tried to stick a roku to the back of a tv but again, no flat surface. I was able to use these to stick a shower mirror to the tile and it has worked better than any suction cups or adhesives I've tried. I bought these because they were cool without having a real plan of use. So if you want these make sure you have a flat surface with minimal textures.

Works great. Always visible now
OK, bought this with 2 purposes in mind. One: to enable my car headlights to automatically turn on when I start the car. My Murano had a flat surface that I covered with an old eyeglass case to keep the head lights turned on when I started the car. My "new" Ford Edge has a raised area todetect light (I guess). I always want my head lights on and this Ford doesn't have running lights so...I thought this product might cover the sensor and make my head lights come on as soon as I started the car. Bingo. Works great. Always visible now. :) Two: to keep my cell phone/gps visible when driving to new locations for work. This product mostly works. I have a "thing" that is supposed to be stuck to the wall to hold a charging cell phone. The position is right-ish so what the heck. the pads hold ok providing I don't have my phone charging and I place it at the most level area of the dash. Eh. I have a few more to try.

This will be your new favorite purchase!
The Premium Fixate Cell Pads by CloudValley are the best and coolest find I have encountered in a very long time. The cost is amazing, too! My son gave me one of the pads as a gift (he was so amazed with his purchase of them that he has been handing them out to family, friends and co-workers!). Once I gave mine a try, I was so impressed I bought two packages of the pads for myself. So, about the product:It is a small circular pad that has Spiderman-like suctioning/sticking ability without ANY residue. I have the pads on my walls, on my car dash board, on cabinets, etc. I can position and re-position my electronics and tchotchkes (and/or the pad itself) as many times as I like without "using up" the sticking power of the pad. When it becomes less sticky over time, due to dust or fingerprints, you simply wash it with water and it is back to 100%. Mine haven't even gotten close to this point yet. But I can vouch for the integrity of the pad after washing, as I have witnessed my son demonstrating the capability.I strongly recommend this product. Its uses are endless and the price is negligible.

The hold is sturdy but it also is an EXTREME pain trying to ...
It's really sticky and holds my Galaxy Note 5 extremely well. The hold is sturdy but it also is an EXTREME pain trying to get it off. I feel like I might hurt the phone in doing so. I did find a solution: I've just left the phone cases on the sticky pads and I use by putting my phone into the case (which is secured to the pad). I have one on my kitchen cupboard door, bathroom mirror, and closet wall. It definitely works, you just have to work a bit to get your device off of it if you're using a phone. If you're permanently leaving a small tablet up, for instance, this will work perfectly.
