Such fun! What a lovely way to add personality to a journal!
I’m having such fun with this truly light and fluffy texture paste! When drying with a heat gun it “poufs” up, and after it’s fully dry I’ve used distress oxide ink to add color. Twisting and brushing doesn’t bother the adhesion to the paper and the end result is impressive. I make journals and use the the paste on video, sharing the experience on “Positive Thanks Living” on YouTube. My experience is documented on the series of videos “Collage Stories” if anyone is interested. It’s my first time using a prepared texture modeling paste. I have been an artist for many years but have never tried this compound and I know many artists are very pleased using it. I am trying some new mixed media approaches and am now trying modeling paste. This particular brand of modeling paste is well known and receives good reviews. I find it important to learn from other artists who rate specific brands highly.For building texture it is excellent. It dries to a nice solid application while creating height and volume very nicely. It doesn’t dry too too fast so I can manipulate it as I want. This compound is great for stencils - it goes on smooth and flows well; not too many stokes or visible bumps in application - and it’s almost translucent when applied thinly. I’ve added acrylic paint to it, which works well. And the modeling paste doesn’t seep out.I can think of all kinds of applications for this light and fluffy modeling paste where a thicker paste would be too difficult and thick to use. And there is a thicker compound for other kinds of uses which gives yet another reason to purchase this brand.I am happy to give this product a five star rating!

Works but don't like 5he smell
This matte medium worked for me as a collage adhesive, and it is genuinely matte (some products that say matte are actually just a bit less shiny than gloss). I'm sensitive to odors and I'm prone to migraines, and one thing I didn't like was the smell - it reminds me of mushrooms, the kind you can't eat. The odor went away after the project was dry, but while wet I couldn't stand the smell. Maybe it wouldn't bother some people.

Good product for mixed media art
As a mixed media artist, I am very satisfied with this product. Though light and creamy, I found I could build texture with it, adding a three-dimensional effect when needed. I discovered that I could mix acrylic paint, sand, and glitter with it to create various effects. I am very happy with this product and will definitely buy it again.

Nice brand, good product
Love this stuff for stenciling my mixed media projects. I love TCW brand. I buy their other products as well. this modeling paste is soft for easy handling, but thick and "puffy" to make your stencils have dimension. I've bought this Modeling past from TCW several times already. Never disappoints.
