I love this little clock, it was really just what I was looking for. As someone mentioned in another review, when you switch the light on, there is a beep noise and in the night that can be annoying, I personally don't mind, but I could see how this could be a problem for others sleeping next to you. But, it's not a problem for me. The background light is green and stays on for about 8 seconds, or you can turn it off again straight away, emitting another beep. The light is not on the whole time which is what I wanted as I want to sleep in the dark. I think it would be better if that beep was removed because it is totally unnecessary, but it doesn't bother me too much and I like the green light. It is not too bright in the night and it is totally clear enough to see when I do use it. The clock has the time in big clear numbers and down below it has the date, day and temp in smaller but still large font. My husband set it up for me, but it looked easy. I have not used the alarm on it as that it not something I need. I just wanted a clock by my bed so I can leave my phone charging in another room overnight as I want to try and avoid having the phone near me when I don't need it. It folds up small and will be very easy to travel with. It is light to carry.

This is a great little clock with BIG numbers that can easily be read even without glasses in the middle of the night. Like another reviewer, I found that it was a bit bright at night, so I removed the back (4 tiny screws) and put a piece of colored electrical tape over the led. I find it much better but my wife liked the brighter display. So, we ordered a second one of these little gems. But alas, it got 'lost' in transit and Amazon refunded my purchase price. So we then ordered a third one and it works just fine and everyone is happy. But wouldn't you know it, a week after it arrived, the 'lost' one showed up in the mailbox! When I contacted the seller on what to do, they told me to just keep the clock - so now we have three of these great little clocks: one for each nightstand, and one for travel. I found it easy to set up (don't forget to set the date including the year!). Haven't used the timer or alarm functions so no comment. Oh, and the 'beep' when turning on the backlight isn't particularly annoying - not very loud at all. Very pleased with both the product and the seller who responded very quickly to my inquiry.

I'm torn. This is a very nice, compact clock. It came with a spare battery. It doesn't tick, It's easy to read, easy to set, you can adjust the snooze length from 1-60 minutes, and you just have to give it the slightest tap to illuminate the face. The problem is, it beeps every time you do. And it is very sensitive.There are 8 musical alarm options and two beeping options. Personally, I hate all of them. They're all very high pitched, shrill sounds. I will continue to use my phone alarm to wake up. I just don't like having to fumble around looking for my phone to see what time it is during the night if I wake up.I'm giving it 4 stars, because the aversion to the beeping is my issue and the alarm tone will definitely get you up.

The instructions referred to settings that were not on the clock. To get an accurate month and date, you had to set the year, but there was no display for the year. Having the controls on the back was awkward. While there were displays for temperature and alarms, the instructions for setting them only took me back to setting hour, minutes, month, date. I do not recommend this item.

Works as expected with easily readable numbers and letters. A nice pro is that it comes with a spare battery. Another pro is that the backlight can be activated just by pushing on the unit. The setup is easy. But ultimately you get what you pay for as it has a number of annoying features:1. The buttons are small and on the back. Just a bit inconvenient for set up, but finding the right button to switch the alarm on/off in the dark is difficult at best. My previous travel alarm had a convenient left/right slider for that.2. Crazy annoying: it emits a loud beep whenever you touch a button, including when activating the nightlight. Will make you really popular with a bed partner. There is no configuration setting listed for how to switch that off.3. Somewhat minor, but I would not have minded the backlight being less bright.Anyway, I have switched to using it as a clock only by opening the back panel (4 small screws) and cutting the wires to the speaker. Also slid in a small piece of paper om front of the green led to make it less bright.Nice bed site little clock display now.

Great little size, Tells you everything you need to know including the date. Somehow I managed to set the alarm but after a few times tilting back of the top ? it stopped.i am ordering another one!

Light stopped working in a few month time

Follow the sm. print directions: BUT....by 1st scanning. 2nd copy paste and you can scroll LARGE READABLE FONTS. THIS CLOCK CAME IN EXELLENT CONDITION and today (9/16/24) is still working WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. Highly recommend.

El tamaño muy práctico

This may well be a wonderful alarm clock, once I can actually use it. But the poorly designed lid hinges have led to both hinge brackets breaking off the clock body (with only adult company present) before I can actually use it. This reminds of the kingdom that was lost for the want of a horse shoe nail.
