The Hip Hop Dance Experience - Xbox 360

i've been happy with my playstation for a while but I read about this game and HAD to have it. i bought an xbox and kinect JUST for this game and i wasn't disappointed. i have a habit of impulsive shopping and was expecting to be disappointed. I love this game however!i like dancing but i'm just not very good. at least not good enough for hip hop dance classes that have you memorizing a mssive sequence of complex moves in a very short amount of time only to have to deal with the anxiety of performing them in front of a bunch of other peole. this game is great. the songs are really good like others have said, and the stress is on musicality. you have some slight wiggle room the technical side of the move, but not following the rhythm and not doing your moves to the music is heavily punished. this is a game you can really have fun to. the training program is good too.it's less of a performance and more of just fun dancing for yourself as you don't feel like you're performing some out-there weird dance move. it all feels pretty natural and organic. plus the on-screen characters don't look like mutants, which is nice since you spend hours emulating their moves.my mom, 63, who likes zumba actually really likes playing this as well.

This game is amazing! I truly appreciate all the work and real feel of the moves. The only issue I have is there's no transition practice that transforms the separate moves into an actual dance. It's a lot of fun, fast pace, and realistic. There only reason I don't give fine stars is the transition factor. Thank you so much for making this compilation of art.

This game rocks! We play as a couple most of the time and have enjoyed it every day since we bought it. There are a good amount of songs with 3 difficulties, this will not teach you to break dance as I was hoping but it will teach you a lot of moves to include in your dancing if you want to start break dancing. I got this game for 10-15 bucks and would definitely pay a full $60 if I had to now that I know how much fun it is. I've tried Zumba and a couple other dancing games and they all were just butt shakers while this game lets you get into the dancing and learn some cool stuff.Pros: Great game, surprising songs, join in whenever, good workout, 2 players is a blast (will be playing this at the next get together we have).Cons: No advanced break dancing moves so far but the game never said it would have those, customizing your character takes awhile.5 stars/98% I did not expect to ever find a game this fun for Kinect

I've played and loved Just Dance Greatest Hits + 3 + 4, Dance Central 2 + 3. As many reviewers have pointed out, Hip Hop Dance Expereince (HHDE) is not as polished as the other games out there. It is, however, the best game for the hard core and for those that want the most "I could actually see this in a club" kind of dances available on the Kinect.I'd like to take a moment to address the rehearsal mode issue. I also thought that the rehearsal mode in HHDE was weak when I started using it, given that you only choose one dance move at a time. However, over time I've come to like it far more than DC 3's. Firstly, a single move in HHDE is often about 4 or more "moves" worth of DC3 dancing, so it's actually a fair chunk of dancing to learn at once. Secondly, you have all the time in the world to work on perfecting that move in real time over and over, as opposed to the stilted nature of practice for DC 3. Finally, it's very quick to switch between moves as opposed to having to dig through menus and load screens in DC3. Yes, it would be nice to have a practice mode where you learn chunks of the song together. However, it's much easier to remember the flow of the entire song given that the individual dances are so much longer, so I din't miss the "recap" of DC3 very much at all.

I must admit that I do not like exercise at all! But, we all need to do it right? I figured I would give this a try since I took dance class for many years.... a long time ago :-) I am using it as my cardio workout in the evenings and I absolutely love it! There are three levels to each song, so as you get to know the dance routine, you can actually make the dances more challenging.You need to know what you're getting into with this, it is a hip hop dance video, so it's crazy fun moves. If you're like me, you probably wont know every song, but enough to still enjoy.Can't wait to have my friends come over and dance with me!I couldn't wait to play it. Go to the Wardrobe tab and pick your avatar. I I think it defaults as a guy so I had to change the sex, color, etc and that makes it kind of fun too!

This is an okay product. t dowes not contain many of the more popular Hip Hop song titles. It seems as though the songs available are targeting more of the main stream buyers and not hard core Hip Hop fans.

When my fiancée and I skip the gym, we put on this game and dance the marathon battle. We love it. The levels of difficulty are proficient and accurate. We usually stay on the low level. The selection of music is good. It can get old, so if we could download a current song list, that'd be great. Im not sure if you can. I would definitely get the sequel.The dance moves vary from easy to confusing to difficult and I wouldn't have it any other way.

From a workout and challenge of moves perspective, this is the best dance game I have tried. I have 3 Zumba, 2 other just dance, and 1 dance central. This one is by far the most challenging in dance moves (I always do the hardest of three levels). I have a great time and find calorie burn on my Fitbit is more than a 100 more than Zumba.I wish there was a exercise mode where the songs are randomly played for an hour without the pauses to show my points and requirement to select the next song. Since I don't use this as a game, I don't care about how many points I get per song. There is a dance marathon mode but when the diamonds run out (which seems to be always around 3 songs) the avatar passes out and you have to start over. I hate wasting my workout time by have to select songs.I haven't explored options or even selected and avatar. I just want a good fun sweaty workout. If you like hip-hop dance, you will love this.I

It's a very good game but I do not recommend to people who have not played other dancing games before.It is a lot harder than Just Dance or Dance Central. This game will take your skills to a whole new level and challenge you.If you like a challenge and don't mind working hard, this is the dance game for you. Good Luck !

ダンスはカッコいいです。選曲もダンセンよりディープです。けどダンセンの親切丁寧なプラクティスモードに慣れていると、このHHDEの練習モードは毎回イラッときてしまいます。(練習モードあるだけマシですが)一つ一つのムーブの練習は、終わって次のムーブに行くには一回一回ムーブ一覧に戻らないとダメなのです。「次へ」ボタンがないので、あるいは自動で次へ行ってくれないので、これがかなり面倒臭い。ダンセンみたいにムーブの前後の繋ぎまで見せてくれる訳ではないし、recapがある訳でもないので、どことどこが繋がっているのか始めは頭が混乱する。ムーブも順に並んでいる訳ではないので余計に…。練習中に流れる曲も、ダンセンならそのムーブのパートをちゃんと流してくれるが、これは一曲ほぼ全部流れる。一曲流れている間、ダンサーは止まる事なくずっとそのムーブを繰り返している。(スローには出来る)なので、曲のどのパートのムーブなのかよく分からない。結局通しで何度もやって覚えるしかない。そしてキネクトで手で操作するにはよく動いてしまい、誤操作が多すぎてイライラするので、コントローラーでやるしかない。けど、踊って…コントローラーのとこまで行って…また踊って…またコントローラーのとこまで…とか言うのは、本当に面倒臭い。…と言う痒い所に全然手が届いてない仕様なんですが、ダンスはカッコいいので、今でも好きです。難易度の高い曲はやりがいもそこそこなので、完璧に踊れるとカッコいいし達成感があります。『It's Tricky』なんかはかなり息が上がりますし、ダンセンにはない難しくカッコいいステップも多いです。ダンセンと被ってる曲は、両方覚えたり、気に入った振りの方を覚えたり。判定はダンセンより甘め。飽きずに今でも踊っているのは、全ての曲が入っているダンセン3とこのHHDEです。折角覚えたダンス、時間が空くと忘れがちなのでたまに引っ張り出して復習します。(日々のメインはダンセン3ですが)ゴリゴリなルックスのダンサー達に圧倒されるし、誰に褒められる訳でもない所や前述した練習モードの仕様など、不満も多少ありますが、ダンスはカッコいいのでモチベーションは保てます。ちゃんと踊れたらホント、かなりカッコいいですよ。Youtubeとかでキマってる人見ると惚れそうになります。(例えキネクトに映るシルエットだけだったとしてもww)HHDE続編とか新しい曲のDLC欲しかったなぁ。お金なら幾らでも出すので…。同じUBIのJust Danceシリーズは、こちらよりかなり簡単であまりやりがいがないので…。
