What I like about this is that it will remember the melody you choose (out of 36) even after an unplug or power outage! However, the directions are in small print (need magnifying glass if not 20/20 vision).Sound is very loud! Lights change according to the melody it is playing.Here is how to have each receiver remember the melody you want (you have to re-program each transmitter with each receiver - unless you want the "Door Bell" tone as the default) :1) Cycle through the melodies you want with the middle melody button on receiver.2) When the melody you want sounds off, release the melody button then PRESS & HOLD the bottom button on the receiver until you hear a tone - then simultaneously press the transmitter button with your other hand to lock-in the melody.Now you are done with that particular transmitter/Receiver pair up. You will need to pair up the others the same way.

It all works! So easy! I am so happy. We also bought these to keep my mom from sneaking out of the house. She has dementia.

We purched 2 devices and set was simple with numerous sound selection. For hearing impared -Works great and much louder than our hard wired doorbell.

Bought these to install in my husband's workshop. He is very hard of hearing and I just had surgery, we purchased these to alert him if I need help. I programed then within a few minutes, plugged them into 2 outlets in the shop and kept the doorbell in my pocket. The lights blink and it plays the tune you select from the menu of many. Very pleased.

Flashing lights not very bright. I bought it thinking the lights would be strobes. Also the transmitter on/off switch is very tiny and easy to miss. The arrow on the battery inside does not point to the switch with any accurary. I returned the first kit thinking it was defective and found the same thing with the replacement kit. Finally I found the switch with the help of a flashlight and magnifying glass. It's OK for now but I'm going to continue to look for a brighter solution.

Compre este producto porque recientemente mi madre enfermo y me preocupaba que no pudiera alertarme cuando se sintiera mal. Puede no ser el objetivo de su uso, pero lo usamos como alerta al poner los 2 receptores en lugares donde paso mas mi tiempo en casa, 1 transmisor al lado de donde ella duerme y otro en la sala. Hasta ahora solo lo hemos usado 2 veces en situaciones necesarias, pero hacemos pruebas de funcionamiento continuamente para asegurarnos de su funcionamiento. Todo perfecto hasta ahora, es un buen producto y el rango de señal es muy amplio.
