I already reviewed this with pictures after I got it. This thermometer work great! According to my digital heat scanner, it's accurate within 1-2 degrees F. The magnet is strong and it doesn't budge. The paint and decals are staying put and haven't chipped or peeled. It works very well. I appreciate the larger display, which makes reading the temperature from a distance a lot easier.

Subtle and good looking design
We have this stuck onto our fireplace, it looks great. The quality is very good and it’s easy to read. It’s so incredibly easy to use, you really just need to stick it onto your fireplace. The magnet is really strong. It’s 100% worth the money.

Good Accuracy, paint will fade over time.
I had one of these for 2 years before the paint degraded and I needed a replacement. It was solidly accurate, agreeing with my IR thermometer and instant read contact thermometer. I ordered 2 replacements and they are also in close agreement to the original (easily within 50F). Overall I'm happy with this product. Note the "Best operation" indication is dependent on how you use it (stove top vs single wall vs double wall stove pipe) so take it with a grain of salt. For example, my stovetop is supposed to run between 450-650F which is mostly in the "too hot" range. Overall I do recommend as several other brands I have bought were highly inaccurate. While these have all been solid.

Works great
It works great and with magnet it stays put. There easy to read to keep the fire in the zone.

Garbage!
Worked well for the first couple of weeks until after repeated fires, all of the printed text on it melted away. It now is completely worthless! Spend a few bucks more and get one that is worth a damn.

Accurate, but weak magnet
Accurate but the magent is so weak it falls off!

Easy to place anywhere on the firebox. It helps a lot to monitor the temp because my firebox can really put our some heat. I recommend this product
