Does the usb-c work with mac? i mean full connectivity (dual display and mirroring)?

Yes. I have two of these plugged into a 2016 15" Macbook Pro with multiple keyboards, mice, and external HDDs on the USB ports. I've never had a problem with the laptop not getting enough power, whether I'm using one or both of the Samsungs. One of them is also connected to a 2021 16" M1 Pro MBP via HDMI and the only hitch (if you can call it that) is the auto-switching can be finicky. Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to push the little buttons on the front to toggle between Macs. It's barely even an inconvenience. I'm happy enough with these two that I'm about to buy another.

what is the measurement between the back of the base and the front of the monitor?

The base is 6 1/4 inch deep (front to back) and 9 1/2 inches wide. The screen swivels right to left but if set parallel to the base the front of the screen is about 3/4 inch behind the front of the base. The pole holding the screen up (which attaches behind the screen) is about 4 1/4 inches behind the front of the base. Hope this helps.

Will it work with the new Mac studio computer?

No reason why it should not using the Thunderbolt 4 port on the Mac and connecting with a Thunderbolt or USB-C (USB 3.1 compatible) cable.
