This is a nice product that lives up to the claims. This is the same latch you can buy without the spring and cable. You could make it yourself but by the time you sourced the parts and installed it, it would cost more. Just buy this one you won't be disappointed.

Sturdy product and easy to install. I have it installed with a old frying PAN, covering the latch poll mechanism. It works great

Latch works greats however the spring wears out fast but love the hidden gate feel this latch gives.

Cheap and it works like it should. I think it could be improved by making the wide end of the spring narrower, or having a lip on the edge of the plate that the spring rests against. It wants to slide off to the sides, but this could be easily prevented with a small design change. I also wish there was a better way to fix the base plate for the spring to the fence post.

The spring mechanism wouldn't stay in place, i had to glue it in place.

Worked perfect. Easy to install. I especially the spring that pushed the latch down. I had to manually push the latch down on my old latch which usually required 2 hands.

Had a problem with the former gate not latching....leaving the gate hanging open! This one was easy to install...only took a few minutes and latches everytime! Quick and easy unlatching.
