Great, but beware the back pain!
The Mighty Paw Hands Free Bungee Leash 2.0 with Dual Padded Traffic Handles for Running, Hiking & Jogging does the things it says it does. It is a great hands-off leash, the padding is nice, the handles have a good placement for a large, lean and muscular dog (65lbs), who has a tendency to pull or at least lean against the leash with their whole weight. The leash is exactly how I expect a bungee leash to be and it doesn't lose bungeeness so far.The belt part ...The belt part is objectively also great and does its job flawlessly. However, I am a very small person and my body hurts after a long walk as if I had a horizontal bruise across my lower back/waist area. After multiple long walks over a couple months I can tell you - bruises are not visible but my back is pressure-sensitive and it's uncomfortable. I still use it everyday since it is amazing otherwise and gives me better control over my dog.If the belt could get an upgrade to a wider cushioned back zone or kind of a slip-on add-on back cushion, like the ones for Canicross, I would buy it immediately. Conclusion: Great leash for big dogs, very good visibility, more control over dog, fewer tangles, better stability and overall greatness - but causes persistent lower back/waist pain/pressure sensitivity. So, Mighty Paw send me an offer! I want the back cushion! Please!

Love this leash!
Walked my dog with it this morning. She’s a pulled or rather just likes to walk fast (keep up ma ma!) It attaches to most collars and is supposed to be able to handle more then one dog.In the past I used a regular leash, wrapped around my waist, which would cinch up when she pulled from one side to the other. This has a sliding loop which runs along the waist attachment. No more cinching! The leash portion has a stretchy/ bungee cord type feel to it and greatly reduced the tension when she saw a squirrel. (Just imagine it!) I think I will never have whiplash from her again! (One can only hope, right?) I do not attach the leash to a typical collar, as she (my Mail/shepherd mix) is STRONG, and I need the added security of a harness. She isn’t crazy about the harness, but must notice the difference the bungee makes, as well as I do. No neck pulling and she just marches along in search of the elusive critter. I found I wasn’t as concerned with keeping an eye out for critters as I usually am. In the past she could catch me off my watch and lunge, tweaking my back and neck. Now I walk hands free and have a handy grab loop which is sturdily secured to the leash. There are two additional loops attached to the waist strap which you can clip a water bottle to, or pouch with poo bags. I haven’t tried those but I feel like if I did it would work great, (if you don’t mind something bumping against you while you walk.)If you are looking for something like this, rest assured you can stop now and buy it immediately! Hands down the best waist leash I ever used.

Works well but be careful of pulling
This lead works really well and I love being able to use it as a normal lead when not out running. Do be careful if you have a strong dog as I've nearly been pulled over a few times when she's seen a rogue squirrel!

Sturdy and comfortable
I use this to walk the dogs at the shelter I work at. The bungee teaches the dogs not to pull so hard as it gives resistance to them tugging. It’s also super comfortable around my waist and saves me from getting my shoulder pulled out of the socket.

AS ADVERTISED
I used this leash actually around a dog-friendly office environment for my girl who likes to PULL. I love the adjustable functions of this leash as well as the extra loops for pulling as needed. The bungee gets some good length and doesn't affect me while she gets around. I will definitely buy another cute color.

Sturdy, functional, the bungee takes effort to stretch, & the green is bright for visibility!
Excellent hands free lead for many reasons. Firstly, I use this for taking long walks with my Basenji-Rat Terrier mix (25lbs); I don't run with this lead. When walking, because the lead is a little heavy, I do have to support the lead a bit when walking so it doesn't go 'whap-whap-whap' against her -- this is truly no big deal as I tend to support any lead I use with her anyhow. The reasons this lead/leash is so functional & great:1/ Quality & sturdy material. 2/ Bungee: it actually takes effort to stretch it & even if it looks a bit stretched out, it seems to contract back to its original condition. (At least within this first month of use.) 3/ Bright green color: I chose this color and didn't realize how bright green it is, in a way that makes us very visible even at dusk. It's not reflective, but very bright, so still good for safety purposes. 4/ Detachable lead from waist belt: although I only use it as a hands free, it's such a functional option to be able to detach the main lead from the waist belt if needed. 5/ Enough D rings: I attach the main lead to the movable D ring, poop bags to a fixed ring, and there's one more. Enough functionality! 6/ Adjustable belt: in order to adjust the belt, it requires sliding though 2 pieces; initially a bit finicky, but it means that the belt stays secure & doesn't just slide & adjust itself over time. 7/ The traffic handle is placed in a good position to keep your dog close. Some traffic handles are just a bit higher & don't work as well for truly keeping a dog close, but Mighty Paw's is placed well. 8/The clasps are sturdy!A note about the clasp: My little rescue has been known to wiggle out of these clasps, but the smaller size version. I was a bit worried about the clasp since I've been using a Nifty Leash locking clasp, but Mighty Paw's clasps seem secure & sturdy; she hasn't wiggled in a way to get out of this clasp.Lastly, Before getting this Mighty Paw leash, I had purchased a less expensive, random brand hands free leash, but you definitely get what you pay for. The random brand one ripped inside the belt lining & the bungee stretched out within 3 wks; I returned it owing to the rip & the new exchanged one also lost the bungee tension & completely stretched out within 3 weeks. So kudos to Might Paw's quality & function!

Traffic handle isn’t perfect but the rest is pretty good
Really like both, they seem good quality! And I’m a professional dog walker so they get used heavily. The only thing I would improve is the location of the traffic handle, it can be a little hard to grab at times if the dog lunges so it would be easier if the handle was positioned slightly higher but overall pretty good leash, heavy duty and safe

do not buy
UPDATE:In the last 10 days , with both metal clips attached to the metal loops on the waist band THE CLIPS BOTH RELEASED AT THE SAME TIME. my dog was not pulling hard just scenting on a boulevard. He is almost 11 years oldthe plastic buckle on the waist band remained intact, but both the metal clips slipped of both metal loops AND THIS MEANT MY DOG WAS NOT ATTACHED TO ANYTHING! he was free to run into traffic, after a skunk or in front of a vehicle.luckily my dog is extremely good at staying near me and listens to verbal communication. he did not run nor bolt but staying right beside me. I can not trust this product anymore and will look for a more reliable brand.I will not use it againmy suggestion: do not purchaseI've had this leash for a few days and only used it this morning.I like the colour, tis bright so won't be left behind in a off leash area.waist band is comfortable and fairly easily adjusted.leash clips seem sturdyhand grips are placed wellbungee has some give but not too muchthis leash doesn't drag in the middle and touch the ground, nice!HOWEVERand this is fair warningWAISTBAND ISSUEyou ***MUST clip your end of the leash to the double metal rings that are on top of the quick snap plastic buckle. seriously a must doI have a 10 year old, admittingly a fit almost 11 year old 33kg Lab, who can pull..but not that hard (was only to find a scent)So on rather busy street the plastic quick release buckle suddenly & unexpectedly released and was off my waist and on the ground !we had been walking for less than 10 minutes.I grabbed it upbuckle was not broken, it just released.luckily I have a very good boy who stayed beside me.Thus from now on, the 2 metal rings MUST be attached to the "human end" of the leashI unfortunately using it this way is NOT as comfortable and the waistband is less flexible (as in rotating around your waist, depending on which side your dog swings to).don't use the lone D ring to attach to leash to.*****my thinking is this has occurred previously and the 2 rings were added instead of just replacing a wonky, untrustworthy, flimsy plastic quick release buckle .if I had tested this in a store I probably would have passed .tired of returning items lately bought on Amazon that don't reach or exceed expectations.I'll have to use the rings for peace of mind. but I'm not thrilled .I've never ever ever EVER in 17 years of walking a dog (all Labs) had a buckle fail ! never
