This is the best one we've tried. Silver is very high quality, sturdy, and the slicing I did for tomatoes and onions was quick and easy for a group of 50. Huge time saver, and a great space savor too. Best purchase in a while.

The mandoline was what you expect for the price. By that I mean it is not commercial grade. Stainless cutting surface, folds nicely for storage, good gripping legs and made short work of slicing up a one pound bag of carrots! I have a bit of a hard time removing the blade unit to clean but with more usage, I’ll figure it out. It is sharp and one has to definitely stay focused. No daydreaming and looking out the window!

As with any mandolin, you have to be very careful if you are a first-time user. They can be extremely dangerous. Please use the gloves supplied with this device. Otherwise, this machine's cut quality and sturdiness is quite good.

This slicer works great. Blade is very sharp. Easy to use, Easy to take apart and clean.

This is a great kitchen tool! Easy to use and quite safe, I have sliced cucumbers, onions, zucchini and also shredded zucchini. Easy to clean. Very good value. Folds for storage, I do keep it in the box it came with. Wish I had this years ago!

Works well. Be careful sharp blade always use glove when using.

This product is not useful for me. It will not perform slicing items that are slimmer than a potato or cucumber. I want to julienne zucchini and carrots but have failed in many attempts to do this because the way the vegetable holder is designed. I am a long-time user of a mandolin, so I know what I'm doing. I kept this product beyond the Amazon return window of 30 days. I watched videos and kept trying but now I am giving up and want my money back. I understand Amazon's refusal to refund I know I am beyon 30 days. The issue that really bothers me is that on the product description there is the following statement: "WELTONHM Customer Service】We WELTONHM strive to make our customers' cooking life easier, better, and more enjoyable in all that we do. If you are unhappy with your mandolin food slicer for any reason, we will replace or refund your order. Also, please reach out, we would like to help you with any questions about our veggie slicer." I have tried in vain to find Customer Service for this Weltonhm. No such luck on the internet. I finally contacted Amazon and received an email for this company. What a hassle for a useless product. They seem to be a large company with lots of cooking products on Amazon but they don't support their Customer Service Statement. Very disappointed. Will never buy a product from Weltonhm.

Over all this is a good product if you’re using it to slice onions or cucumbers but when it comes to slicing harder produce like potatoes and carrots, the slicer’s teeth are not sturdy enough and loses shape easily. It is also built in a way that is quite dangerous if used without the glove.

The quality is very good and blades sharp and easy to select.. it is a bonus that they come with cut resistant gloves

This is very good - slices veg and salad very thinly - adjustable thickness - slices the best homemade crisps also I’m well chuffed

The product is great

It looks great but is a very dangerous tool to use as it is very easy to get cut when cleaning. And the julienne tools are not that easy to use
