There is no lag at all. My husband found it after our second attempt (the first universal remote we tried was not so universal 😂 ) I added a screen shot of the YouTube video we used to program it. Programming itself was super easy, but one thing we had to do was hard reset the garage door opener that was hard wired on the wall in the garage by doing a long hold on the button until the garage door was completely shut. The issue we had was when we pressed the newly programmed clicker it would start to close but then shoot back up like it was sensing something was in the way, but there was nothing in the way. We found that holding the GARAGE WALL button down, , not the clicker, the garage door was able to fully shut.
