The color is as portrayed. However, you will need to take measures to ensure that the liner doesn't quickly fade off your face. I have tried both fixing spray and fixing powder, with the powder giving best results. Although a liquid liner, its line is not sharp, so keep that in mind. I use it as an accent above a darker shade
