Best sling! Buy this now!
After fracturing my shoulder, I was given a cheapo fabric sling in the urgent care that was too small for my arm and kept sliding off my shoulder. After a return trip to the ER, I was given a larger, slightly better sling, built the straps were cutting into my neck and it was still difficult to keep in place. The discomfort from those two slings was leading me to not wearing one at all, slowing my healing significantly. This sling is a Godsend. I am not kidding when I say the moment I slid my arm into the cushy neoprene I felt instant relief. The straps are over the shoulders so no more sliding down - instant support. And the immobilizer band is the best part. It keeps everything secure and snug and is soooo comfortable. I now can wear the sling all day and night without whining or giving up trying. Also, if you are a busty girl like me, do not have second thoughts - it WILL fit and it is comfortable!

Offers Great Options
The sling that's given at the hospital and/or doctor's office isn't the best caliber. It doesn't offer much by way of adjusting the straps etc. Also, the material is awful - all you can do is sweat and chafe. So, we definitely needed something else to assist with a fractured and dislocated shoulder. We bought the extra large size and it's been great! Such an improvement over the hospital's give-a-way. The arm/shoulder is supported via both shoulders (versus across the back of the neck) using a criss-cross velcro system. Both of the strap velcro ends open to adjust (adjust velcro straps from front or back) to what is most comfortable for the injured person. And, there's another large velcro strap to immobilize the injured arm/shoulder. Great material - easy to care for and wash in gentle soap/cycle. No chafing! Very worth the money.

Good quality and comfort once you get past the poor instructions
The instructions could’ve been better, but even operating with one injured arm, I was able to get this on myself and figure it all out. My need is more to immobilize my arm so I let my shoulder rest. Less of a need to support my arm. Right now anyway. So I am using just the strap right now as one other gentleman pictured. This allows me to type on my keyboard for work. The material seems well made and comfortable. I bought the large based upon the height weight indication. Plenty of room for adjustments. Note on the instructions. On Velcro the strap. Loosen the strap. Cross the strap behind your back with the doubled up part staying in front of you. Bring the Velcro and around the front and attach it to the front of the sling. In one picture you can faintly see the Velcro strap on the front of the sling. Do the same with the other side. Then the great big strap goes around your body and injured arm to immobilize it further. The strap does not attached to the sling. I do think this might be a little warm, but that’s probably the same with almost any sling. Certainly one that has enough to it to help immobilize the limb.

Comfortable but difficult to use with one arm.
It’s hard to put on with an injury to the shoulder.. Need help to make it comfortable. Once I get help then it’s comfortable and helps keep pressure off my shoulder. It sticks way to well to have someone one handed to put the thing on. I would love to keep it but I’m only should be using one arm. This is too hard for me to do on my own. Would like a brand that is not a tough to put on. Or at least come with a how to video how more than one way to put it on.

Saved me a trip to the doc!!
I kept throwing my left arm back as I slept and woke up with such a sore shoulder I couldn't elevate my left arm very far throughout the day. I think I kept aggravating my rotater cuff, but I don't know. I don't use the sling, but I use the band across my chest when I sleep and O.M.G. what a world of difference. It's thick, sturdy, high-quality, but super soft and comfortable. I don't even notice it's on. It doesn't immobilize the elbow so I can still bend my elbow, but my arm no longer flails back in the night. It's kept in place. I never want to sleep without it!

Very adjustable and comfortable. Great support.
I bought this to replace the M sized sling from the ER. I use this sling without the belt to support my broken arm. It distributes the weight onto two straps that do not cut into my shoulders or neck. Once I figured out how to adjust my left breast by positioning it on top of my arm in the sling, it fits like it looks on the man in the picture. Remove the sling and keep the straps oriented the way that the front should look, on a table that you can place your arm on while you put the straps on, which also can be repositioned with the strong velcro for a comfortable fit. This sling is very effective.

Strong and well made. No instructions except a few pictures.
No instructions except for 4 pictures, which showed crossed straps in the back. I thought that they straps were sewn on, so could not cross the straps. We got that figured out. It takes some finger strength to remove the Velcro'd straps, and is really hard for one person to put on him/herself. The straps are a bit rough feeling. The outer band, is very soft and comfortable, but extremely difficult for the patient to don alone. With help available to put on the patient, this is a good and strong device for a good price.

No instructions. No video tutorials. Come on, It's 2021.
I'm sure this product is helpful to the people who can figure it out. I'm not one of those people. It arrived without instructions. It did, however have a picture of the straps crossing in the back, which seemed rather tough for somebody to accomplish with a bad shoulder. So, I searched YouTube for an instructional video, but came up empty-handed. I did, however, find a sales video with comments from several people who, like myself, were mystified by the product and surprised that it did not come with any instructions. My recommendation would be that the manufacturer spend a few minutes recording a simple instructional video of somebody putting this thing on. And until they do, I'd heartily recommend that purchasers refrain from buying this shoulder harness unless they a whole lot smarter than I am!

This is an excellent sling. It is very supportive with variable strapping options. Straps are fully adjustable and can be secured to the sling in any position via velco. It's also very comfortable for my swollen arm and wrist as well as around my shoulders with the straps. Great value for such a good product.

Only had it a short period so far, but it’s been so much better than the hospital one. As other reviewers have said the instructions are almost non existent, just four non descript pictures. For anyone who orders this and wonders how on earth to get them to cross over on the back, I’ll tell you what the instructions or listing should have - the side not attached by plastic clips is strong Velcro! I was very confused until I figured that out. Once you know that it’s very easy to use. The wrap around band works well for me - it is a bit big, but decent for those of us with a chest! It’s been invaluable for keeping my arm still when I go for a walk. I have a broken radial head and wrist, and prior to buying this I was only up to very slow and delicate walks. Recommended based on my experience so far. Delivery was amazing - I ordered around 9pm and it arrived the following morning, which given it’s for a broken arm was really appreciated!

I fell off my bike and fractured my acromion. I was sent home from hospital with a fabric sling and knew I needed something more comfortable as I was going to be using it for a while. I chose this product because I liked the idea of immobilising the lateral movement. I’ve used the sling continuously for 3 weeks. It’s really really comfortable: the strap design means the weight of the arm is born across both shoulders none of that digging in around the neck. The sling keeps my hand and arm warm which has been great as the weather is rubbish: It’s really good at night at holding the arm in place because the sling itself does not move around because of the straps crossing on your back. It’s also really adaptable with straps that can be lengthened or shortened meaning you can have your arm in the exact position that does not cause any pain. You can also wear it over the top of bulky clothes or a coat - no problem. This has been a brilliant buy, a god send for me. Delivery was as advertised. If you are unfortunate enough to need a sling this might be a good choice for you.
