This thread really do glow in the dark…I love it!! Just make sure you use a larger needle and you won’t have a problem:)

Purchased this thread to make some glow in the dark gear for my service dog. Overall I’m very impressed with the quality for the price point. I use a husqvarna-Viking sewing and embroidery machine and while I like my equipment it is fussy about thread type, so I was skeptical of this product. I just stitched the items in the photo, and despite my machine needing some routine maintenance this thread fed beautifully and I experienced 0 breakage. While I would never depend on glow in the dark thread for visibility at night, I thought it would be interesting to decorate the vest panels in this way. It is true that a camera can make night photos like these appear more bright than they are in real life; however, in person this thread glows at nearly identical intensity as shown in my photo. The only color of the 4 utilized in my design that wasn’t quite as intense as it appears to be was the light purple thread. And even then it was clearly visible and readable. The effect doesn’t last long (a few minutes, tops), but IT LOOKS SO COOL for the time it does last. The thread yarns are well assembled, which I’m guessing is one the reasons this feeds so well, and because of this even the daylight version of this thread looks clean and smooth. And because the thread is so well put together, I can run my embroidery functions at full speed without any issue. As a long-time Gütermann and Sulky thread fan, I’m happy to say that these threads are not out of place on my thread rack. Absolutely will be buying this brand again when my thread stash needs refreshed, because I’m curious as to how their non-glowing threads fair in comparison.

No breaks glowed some after I held it under a lamp. A little high in price so I probably won’t buy again. Love the colors!

Fun and durable holds a glow for decent time after sitting in the light- and looks amazing under a blacklight. Also good quality! Favorite company so far to order from

These don't glow like the picture showed but they will work for what I want to do with them.

Ja sie leuchten - die einen mehr, die andren weniger. Das reinweiß leuchtet am besten, gefolgt von dem orange. Vor allem, wenn flächig gestickt wird. Mit einer UV-Lampe kann man sie sofort aktivieren udn selbst bei Kurzem anleuchten, glühen die Garnrollen noch ne Weile nach. Ich weiß noch nicht, wie lang sie in der Nacht wirklich leuchten, aber der Effekt, wenn man aus dem Hellen ins Dunkle tritt udn plötzlich das Kleid leuchtet, ist schon echt beeindruckend.
