If it starts walking or you don't drill it straight on it's going to leak. And no, if done right it will not leak. I used 63/64 and used a deburring tool to get a tight fit. **Q: Will the wire connectors on a garmine striker 7sv cable fit through this?** A: This kit has many adapters to fit various cable dimensions. There should be one that fits very close. We try to silicone along with fitting for extra water proofing. **Q: Will this work on a Bayliner Capri ??** A: You can use it on any kayak. Hobie does it again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not just for kayaks *by B***N on April 19, 2019* A must have if you want the cleanest water resistant exit/entry point for marine electronics. Looks great and works just as well. Includes everything to install and even a plug cap if you change your mind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Won't fit on FF transducer cable *by M***O on July 3, 2015* Well, not sure if it's fair for me to rate it just a 3 but for me but I can't use it for my needs. I have a Lowrance 5 elite fish finder. The power cables works just fine of course since nothing but wire is hanging off one end. My battery is inside the hull of my kayak. However, the transducer has a connector that is just a tad too large for the tightening screw on the thru hull connector. So for me specifically with the type of FF and thru hull mounting, it won't fit. If I do make a thru hull transducer install, I will have to get another connector.Update* I was able to make the locking nut pass thru the transducer cable. I forced it thru. I looked at the nut after and it did somewhat mess with the threads a little but it was still able to screw in and lock it down.
