I would prefer the softer rubber material which i had for a few years - sadly i lost them and had to buy another set but this product was too hard and was painful while in my ear - not sure why it is not soft like the other models It did not seem to fit very well in the ear

Works great, they definitely make a difference

Comfortability was fine. I didn't notice much of a difference as far as sound and how my brain was functioning as far as attention or possibly being too much. (I also use another set of earplugs.)I think I have smaller openings go my ear canals as I have to use smaller tips on all my other headphones and earplugs to have any hope of them staying in. These did for a time, and then I decided to try them outside the house, and one fell out. (I also have issue with anything in my ears if I'm eating because the motion seems to push things out of my ears.) It was an expensive little piece of plastic to lose, especially within two weeks of purchase.

Product does reduce background noise but also speech, which I was hoping would be clearer. Maybe i bought the wrong item!
