Max Temperature Issue
Can you please confirm that the maximum temperature is 1100 °C? We bought it and it is transferring the data max 100C

Good product -- accurate and good build quality
I use this thermocouple with a Flute multimeter to confirm that the hot air from SMD Hot Air Rework station has the correct air temperature. Compared the measurement results with the results from another known (and expensive) instrument. The test results are consistent.

Worked until it developed a short
I bought this for a homemade burnout furnace to reach through the 2.5 inch ceramic firebrick. It does the job and seems pretty accurate. However, after a couple months it developed a short and will only read accurately if pin the cord down a certain direction. Otherwise it reads random numbers.

Replaced troublesome sensor with this.
My powder coating oven PID was showing a temperature that didn't match my BBQ sensor that I used for checking. After some verifications, I found that it's off by 10%, which means at 400 degrees, it's off by 40 degrees which is completely unacceptable. That was the old sensor.I purchased this sensor and now I'm confident using my oven's PID controller because the temperature is within 2 degrees even at 400 which is more than acceptable for powder coating.Very glad I went with this unit.

Very accurate thermocouple
Very accurate, but don't get it wet. I submerged it many times using it to measure the temp of my mash for beer Brewing. Eventually the probe started to read inaccurately. I purchased a new one and all is well again. Lessen learned.

Returns errors at 1534 degrees f
I really wanted to like this thermocouple. Unfortunately I've only used it twice and the first time I wasn't there to catch the errors and the second time I was able to figure out that the thermocouple stopped giving readings at 1534 degrees f. If it was sold as a -100f to 1250f thermocouple I'd be singing it's praises but unfortunately it just doesn't deliver on the promised temp range.

It works!
My Cerakote cabinet wouldn’t work - and then I replaced the thermocouple with this unit and it is spot on!
