An excellent hobby drill
Effective and easy to use. Helps with drilling pilot holes in resin and plastic kits, most importantly doesn’t cause melting. Just remember to move in and out of the hole to prevent a drill bit getting stuck as rpm is lower than an electric drill. Excellent product.

Perfect for my modeling needs!
Using this mostly for model building, namely Warhammer 40k and others, and it's perfect to drill holes effortlessly when converting models, bolter drilling, etc. Some smaller pieces will need a guiding hole by hand (with pin vice or the point of an xacto blade) to make sure it's well centered and that you won't ruin the bits, but otherwise you can go right in with it. Used mostly on plastic and resin so far, not sure I'd want to dull the drill bit on metal minis yet. Highly recommended!

Great drill for Warhammer. Requires a small learning curve + tips for you to be successful using it.
I was given this for a Christmas gift and I love it. I've drilled hundreds of holes to pin and drill out the barrels for my 40k armies and they seem to still do as well as the first day I got them. The drill bit sizes are perfect for most if not all barrels I have come across (Bolters, Shootas, Exhaust pipes, Lasguns, and many more). It is amazing how long it holds a charge. I don't know how to quantify it into something meaningful to you, but I have not had to charge it for drilling out an entire 2000 point armies worth of barrels, pinning, and etc. This product doesn't go without it's complaints from me though. The chuck for the bit feels a bit cheap. I was afraid I would break it at first, but I haven't had any issue yet. I needed to learn how to best apply pressure to this. The gear is one speed and lower torque than I think it should be. Here's some tips to have a better time using it: - ALWAYS punch a small hole with your hobby knife where you want the hole to be first. Without the hole, the drill will want to jump or travel off the point. With a small punch, it should grab and go where you want it. - ALWAYS start with a smaller drill than you want. This drill does not have the torque required for you to use the largest bit. This is based on my experience and only with resin and plastic. Going to the biggest drill head with plastic or resin is not a good plan. - Apply minimal pressure, let the drill do it's job. Putting too much pressure will make the drill stop at best or it may carve its own path in an undesired direction at worst. I made this mistake many times with barrels at first. - When working with resin, such as Forgeworld, be patient. That stuff is much harder than plastic and doesn't really let the drill "bite" as much. Also, wear a mask.- Tighten the chuck around the bit just below finger tight.Hope this helps!

Drill great for small items
First one I received the button didn’t work. Amazon return/replace was great. Received the replacement and it works fantastic. My husband loves it for his model building. Being an older modeler, he was able to drill a small hole in his plastic pipe with no pain to his hands.
