I have suffered from low back pain for years due to a "bulging disc" and have tried so many devices from TENS units to INVERSION, and spent literally hundreds of dollars on back braces, pain relievers, ointments, chair pillows, etc. I can't remember them all. I love my Lo-Bak TRAX and despite its weight (only 2.6 pounds, but feels heavy inside a suitcase), I insist on taking it with me when I travel. It is easier and more portable than an inversion table, without the stress on my ankles. I can use it any time I need to decompress. It provides me with a wonderful, deep stretch and a powerful release of trapped energy which is so relaxing. I've noticed a difference in the severity of the disc displacement over time - similar to the effect of regular visits to the Chiropractor. I used to get a big "k-THUNK" when the disc slipped back into alignment. Now, it's much more subtle, and the alignment seems to last longer with regular use of the device. Experimenting with different leg and foot positions, along with the angle of the lo-bak TRAX, I've discovered I get better results when I keep my knees close together and my toes turned slightly inward. Pushing down on one thigh and then the other also provides a very pleasant stretch, especially when combined with lengthening the upper spine simultaneously.

I m ex professional basketball player and i have 3 degenerative discs what always made problem to me after i stop playing . Its important to do exercises on a daily bases and read and learn how to use this device , Since i have it my life is finally back to normal . I red some people saying negative things but they are wrong bcz they dont know how to use it and not patient. Be carefoul and patient and for sure youll see the difference . Using this device is liek laying 3 days in bed recovering back . With this thing i feel like i buy time . Watch videos and look for little tricks like angele of the rist etc it makes difference its not only lay down and push look for details to feel the difference . I used to have extension table but it was too agressive for my brain bcz blood rushing down ,with this i control evereything . Sorry for long comment

I’m a occupational therapist. I used to teach back school. In the last 2 years I have had sacral and low back pain, stiffness that comes back, stiffness after longer driving, stiffness after working in my yard or lifting. My pain was caused by a severe fall where I landed on my sacrum. For anyone reading this, DO NOT USE UNLESS YOUR PHYSICIAN HAS SAID OK. If you have had spinal surgery, I would not use it either as it has the potential and probability of pulling on the surgical site, hardware, fusions, etc. so be judicious. With that said, I’ve never had spinal surgery. I used this yesterday, this morning, and this evening . For me it felt like a good low back stretch, later modified to stretch my piriformis and hamstrings. My body loved it. My low back and sacrum feel almost normal, relaxed, very little stiffness. I follow it up w a chi type machine and low body stretching.. then bed. Then morning walk. Now, when using it, go slowly... listen to your body. It should not be painful. Just a little bit. You didn’t get this pain over nite, it may take a while. Don’t do things that cause pain. There will likely be some joint laxity there following its usage...consult w your physician or PT or OT and get on a medically approved exercise program. For some people this is excellent. For others. It is NOT RECOMMENDED.

I watched the DVD instructions both online and at home. I've used it three times since I opened the box. I think the first time I may have been a bit too agressive because my sciatica is much worse. During the day I wear a brace on my left leg to attempt to ease the pain and use the Lo-Bak-Trax at night. Last night I added the step that uses the device to pull my knees toward my chest as another method for opening the spine where the nerve is being pinched. I will continue to use the device as long as the pain gets no worse for the 3 weeks suggested. I hope this add'l pain I've been experiencing is an anomoly and the device will really work in the long term. I will try to post another review after I've used the device for a longer period.

This product really gets to your lower back like no other, prolly one of the best simple products around for the house, again when your out and about driving like me u can't really take with you(which isn't the products fault) but for the house its one of the best products for lower back pain, like more doctors and chiropractors should recommend this product, you do have to do it a couple times a day, morning and night and hold for 30 secs or more and do aleast 3 reps, only negative is ur arms get tired from pushing so hard, another thing to get with this is a pull up bar to hang and help decompress ur back or have family member or friend walk on ur back
