Came with Spyware/Viruses
While I can only speak for the F7 3 plus I received; the device felt solid, monitor works as it should, and the system boots quickly. I really have no complaints other then instability caused by the spyware/virus that came with the Laptop. It was sluggish and would not update, whenever it was on my network I got multiple alerts that it was scouting attached computers on the network, and caused disturbances to the Samsung TV and PS4 I had on network. Since it wouldn't update, coupled with the fact my network issues would dissapear when I took it offline, I ended up booting to a Windows 10 USB stick and scrubbing the whole hard drive, hidden partitions and all. I found the missing drivers on Teclasts support page, which pleasantly surprised me. The Model number for this laptop is A1B3, and all drivers where there. Other then the fact I have to buy a new Windows 10 Pro license for this computer I'm satisfied since in the end this is a sub $250 Quad-Core 6w laptop, with 8 GB memory and a Small 256gb SSD bought to service DTOC and Commercial Audio Systems.

Good PC with potential
This is one of the first reviews I've made for a product and will be using my Dell Inspiron 15 5559 as a comparison throughout the review.I got this PC with an open mind that it may not perform as good as my Dell. I stood corrected and was thoroughly impressed at the difference it performance.[Physical aspects]I have to say I enjoy the keyboard on this F7 a little better than my Dell. It does take a little getting used to just because it is a bit smaller and doesn't have the numeric pad. The keys also feel better to type on compared to the Dell. The body of the F7 is not completely metal in design, the lid is all metal besides the bezel. The trackpad isn't as quiet as my Dell but that really isn't a concern to me. The sensitivity is good and works just as good as the Dell in case anyone was concerned about the trackpad. As far as the body and look of the laptop the only disappointment I have is the keyboard not having a backlight. My Dell came with a backlit keyboard and I found that to be very handy in night time computing scenarios. The port at the bottom is where the stock HD is located and is not an additional slot. Maybe there's a slot under the back bottom panel to add one there but we will see.[Hardware aspects]I wanted a laptop that was more portable than my Dell and this is definitely it, my dell weighs significantly. I have noticed some of the animations such as opening the start menu were a little glitchy at first, but I do believe that was because the system was updating in the background. After all the updates came through and the patches installed the system is now running very smoothly. I have not tested any sort of games on this PC yet but I did not buy this for gaming, maybe after I get back home to my controller I will try out some steam games and see what it can do. I have a desktop for gaming and use the software Parsec on my Dell if I want to game from my laptop so I am not concerned about dedicated gaming on this laptop to much but maybe it'll be nice. Possibly see another review after that. My dell was not good for any games what so ever, even games with minimal requirements would play at less than 30FPS. The amazon listing says the CPU is the N4020 but it is the N4120 which runs more smooth and balances programs better. Although the 6200U in the Dell is higher frequency, it being only a 2 core CPU it did bottleneck. The Gemini Lake Celeron is a very capable processor with good potential. Even though my Dell came with a disk drive I had removed it to use the disk slot as an expandable drive to add more storage since I have very little need for a CD drive. Having no disk drive in the F7 was not an issue here. It is a bit sad to only have 2 USB slots compared to the 3 on my Dell but a simple USB hub can fix that issue. I will upgrade this to more storage when cyber Monday hits so I can get a better deal on higher storage. For now the 256GB M2 will be just fine.[Misc Aspects]There's not really anything to review about the OS since everyone knows how windows is and would be pointless to cover, but the PC does run very smooth with the 8GB of ram (it is a downgrade from my Dell which had 16gb of ram installed, I added the 16gb myself). Even though my Dell had twice the amount of ram this F7 seems to manage the ram better. I did increase my virtual ram to 2gb which using some of the SSD storage (after adding an extra drive it'll hardly matter) The battery life is 1000x better than my Dell which would hold a charge for about 2-3 hours on a good day (didnt even have HDR capability compared to the F7). The F7 battery life has lasted upwards of 4-5 hours even while installing updates, web browsing, and installing software at the same time. Videos are better on the F7 because of the HDR capability. The laptop is a great buy for the price. If you are looking for a gaming laptop this would probably not be for you (this should be a given when it comes to laptops under $500) But if you are looking for a laptop for school, standard computing and business purposes this is a great laptop with good potential.
