I just used the cyan. I used gloves, which they provide a pair of disposables, to open the cartridge over the sink with paper towels underneath. I really didn't need either the gloves or paper towels, but it's always good to err on the side of safety.I have a Canon MX882. It's an oldy but goody printer. I printed a color copy of an original. It printed perfectly. It fit my printer perfectly and stayed lit up as soon as it was placed properly. There wasn't any compatibility issues or problems. It's also easy to discern what color is what as the cartridge colors are clearly marked. The amount of products for the price and quality is perfect as well. I highly recommend this product and will continue to purchase it for my print cartridge needs. It really doesn't get any better than this for my printing needs.

***UPDATE 10/19/21***After using these cartridges for a year now I can say with confidence these work perfectly fine in my Canon PIXMA printer. For the money I saved with these cartridges I could buy another printer, and I’m now reordering as I’ve finally managed to work through most of the ink after a year. One magenta cartridge imploded and was unusable, but overall I’m so thrilled with the $$$ I saved with these I’m happily keeping my 5-star rating. And for those who, like I was, may be a little hesitant to purchase off-brand ink, my printer is working perfectly fine after using these for a year. VERY happy repeat customer here, and I highly recommend this product unless you like wasting gobs of money on Canon ink cartridges.=======================================================================I’ve only used one of these cartridges so far in my Canon printer, but it didn’t get spit out or otherwise malfunction and seems to be printing just fine so at this point I’m happy with the performance and absolutely thrilled at the price relative to the insanely-priced Canon cartridges. If anything changes as I replace more cartridges I’ll certainly report back, but so far I’m encouraged and the amount of savings is huge so fingers crossed! I was wary about trying off-brand ink cartridges, but at this point I’d have to say if you’re tired of getting raked over the coals with Canon ink cartridges these are well worth a try.

I just bought this product so I can't give a long time review. However, two of the 225 large black tanks were not recognized by my printer. The third one worked. Print quality seems to be similar. Even if I get some bad tanks it's still worth risking because Canon ink is so, so,so expensive. I love this printer, but man is the ink expensive. I will try to do another update once I've used these cartridges a little longer. 7/13/20

CHEAP AND WORKS GREAT

This is great ink for your printer. Not sure about the longevity of the product in cartridge yet.

Ink works perfectly. No problem with compatibility or quality. Have & will purchase again.

I will say the first picture that came out was green blues and yellow but after I did clean the printer the colors came out a lot better. I can see myself buying this again but also time will tell. If you going to do this don't make sure colors up. Make sure that all the same brand or you will get screwed up colors
