Q: How do you clean this?

Do not put into a washing machine. We soaked ours in cold water in our tub sink in the garage, rinsed with downy and did not wring out the water. We let it dry on our towel rack in the garage and it came out like new again.

Q: Will it work on coil tops?

If the burners are raised at all, it is recommended that you don’t use it. It is best for flat tops.

Q: Love this but was wondering if you could also iron a small item on this.

Yes I have used it to do touch ups with an iron. I figured if it can withstand 450 heat from an oven with damage then an iron would be fine. No issues at all.
