I used these on blue LED lights on a wine fridge that are just way too bright. You can see the before picture, the LED lights are so bright my camera was having trouble with the picture. The after image shows a much more toned down light level that is still very readable and doesn't light the whole room at night.The company was really cool to work with. As far as application, my only problem was peeling the little backing off of the sticky tinting material. But that wasn't too difficult. Are there little bubbles? Yes, some. That also may have been user error as I've never done this before. You have to really get close to see the bubbles (check out the after image if you don't believe me). If someone's getting that close to my wine fridge then I'm not sure I care what their opinion is of my tinting.Overall, great product. I have saved the extra and will definitely use again in the future.

Love this product! I’ve used this for so many things in my home, but especially for electronics in my bedroom that are so bright they keep me awake at night. I wanted something where I could still see the numbers and power lights, but would dim it so I didn’t feel like I was on an airstrip at night. It is a very thin material, but works well to dim my stuff. Yes, you have to be careful of air bubbles, but it wasn’t a major issue. I also like that it peeled off easily and cleanly for a DVR box that I returned to the cable company. They have different levels of “darkness” so if you want a complete blackout of light that is an option. All in all, I love this product and I’m so glad I found it.

A few years ago I bought an Emerson alarm clock that has a large display. While the alarm clock has a bright and dim setting the display is still really bright at night even on the dim setting. I am very sensitive to light when I'm trying to fall asleep and finally the thought occurred to me to look for a product like the LightDims.I has worked great! I actually have the alarm clock set on the bright setting now, so I can see the time during the day but it is not bright enough to bother me at night.The LightDim sheet was a little different than I was thinking it would be. I was expecting a static cling type of material, but it actually has some adhesive on one side. It is similar to a smart phone screen protector but thinner. It is removable but you would probably have to buy a new sheet to re-apply.I would recommend using a credit card or screen protector applicator card during installation to reduce the chances of getting air bubbles stuck behind it.

Good product, works as advertised. Dims very well, difficult to apply to recessed areas and product was not quite wide enough for my application.

I had bought two of those digital clocks you can find on amazon, big numbers but extremely bright. I went with this product because unlike others, it was large enough, and the numbers don't look fuzzy after applying. It dimmed the light just enough and was easy to apply with no bubbles. Very happy with my purchase.

Works as advertised. Greatly dims screen, but doesn't make the image colors muddled. However, it is very difficult to put on larger surfaces, as the film is very thin and flimsy and can cling onto itself, which ruins the sticky part. As long as you slowly apply the sticker to the surface and care for any dust/wrinkles, it's perfect.

If we are running the dishwasher late at night while watching a show, the glow from the dishwasher lights is visible from the living room. This product eliminated the problem by dimming (but not obscuring) the lights. Now that we've done that, I've been a bit overboard at dimming all the LEDs in the house. Powerstrip? Dimmed. DVR/Cable? Dimmed. Roomba buttons? Also dimmed. The world is so much nicer now that it's not like a christmas tree year-round. Only slight nit is that the stickers are challenging to get off the sheet until you get the hang of it. But worth the effort. Highly recommended & I'm buying more for gifts for others.

When you buy an alarm clock for the bedside, there is no way to tell how bright it will be until you get it home and out of the box. I recently purchased a new alarm clock with a lit digital readout. It seemed fine until I shut off the lights to use it the first night. I awoke several times during the night, noticing how bright the flow from the clock was. I could almost read by the light from the darn clock even on its dimmest setting! I didn't want to have to give up the clock though to try and find another one, only to possibly run into the same problem.Then I saw these vinyl see-through stickers for sale (the light dims.) I cut off a piece big enough to fit over the clock readout, and that dimmed it quite a bit, but it was still readable during daylight. The vinyl sticker went on nicely with no bubbles of air trapped underneath. I think it is removable if needed. It is very thin but did a pretty good job of darkening the display. The clock was still too bright at night though, so I propped up the rest of the LightDims in front of the clock to double-up on the darkening properties. That finally dimmed it enough to allow me to sleep, but still read the clock. in the morning I simply remove the extra lightDim i had propped up, and the clock reads perfectly again.

Ideal for toning down LED lighting behind glass shelves in kitchen cupboard. Have purchased twice.

ottimo prodotto per ridurre la luce notturna di alcuni apparecchi. dovevo attenuare la luce del termostato installato in anticamera che mi provocava fastidi notturni.Lo schermo resta comunque visibile per cambiare le varie impostazioni. Consiglio!

Funciona perfectamente. Deja de molestar la luz de noche aún teniéndola de frente. Lo volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.
