Fobus SR22 Concealed Carry OWB Paddle Holster for Ruger SR22

My RU2ND, delivered first week of November 2020, has a comfortable, red, rubber inlay on the paddle.This may be a new change as other reviewers speak of roughed up plastic lacking this rubber piece.Provides a soft, tacky, comfortable surface.No slippin'.No slidin'.Rides tight and close-in on my waist.Fits the Ruger LC9s perfectly.My LC9s has the manual safety, same as the EC9s, and holsters in/out no problemo.Pistol snaps in with a firm definitive click and releases without any movement of the holster.I haven't made any adjustments to the retention screw.Not needed.Perfect tension as delivered.This is my second Fobus and is as good as my first which carries a Kel Tec P3AT.Works well without a belt, just suspenders.No flopping around.Nice and stable !

I like the Fobus paddle holsters. They are very quick to stuff in your waistband. Although a .22 is not and advisable gun to carry for personal protection, I carry mine around the ranch for the occasional run in with some pests. It's a pretty accurate little pistol at close range. This holster fits the gun pretty nicely and securely. It is very easy to adjust the retention hold on the pistol. You can easily tailor it to you needs. When you have it set tightly, you have to adjust your draw so you don't draw the holster too. But it is pretty natural feeling to push off the top of the holster with your thumb once you get used to it. But if you don't need to be extra secure, you can set it so it grips lightly and makes for a super fast draw. When I use it with this pistol, I tend to be moving around a lot, getting on and off a tractor or doing some work, so a fairly tight grip is what I usually need. But this is pretty much infinitely adjustable. It's a tough, durable holster that will take some abuse, but it can be tuned to your needs too.

I like that i can install and remove the holster/firearm,as a unit, with little effort. Rides on the hip nice and once you get the tension screw adjusted correctly , holster provides a secure grip on the firearm. I would NOT call this a CC holster , it does stick out from the hip a bit . range shooting ...hunting is it's best use

It fits great. At first I thought it would not work because of the slant in the holster, but it draws quite nicely.

This is the second Fobus paddle holster weve purchased. At about $25 they are a great deal and they work great. Fits very comfortably in you waist band and has a tension screw to allow more or less power to draw your sidearm. Definitely will purchase again in the future for other sidearms.

Excellent product for the money, only problem is that retention is not the best, you either have to tighten the screw all the way down to get it to stay without worrying that it may fall out while running or any other type of demanding activity, and with tightening the screw all the way down it is hard as hell to withdraw the pistol, but again this holster wasn't designed for that purpose in mind. So if your going to utilize the holster for a normal every day carry then this holster is the one you should try, but if your gonna buy it for more of a professional more physical demanding job then this holster is not for you, but let me mention Fobus does make a level 3 holster for that type of work. Overall excellent product well constructed, has not marred the finish of my pistol (YET), so with that in mind go ahead and give it a try.

Don't be fooled by anyone who says you can't get a quality holster for $20. I have carried Fobus holsters almost every day of my life for the last 20+ years. I have introduced them to many professionals and civilians, and they have always been well received. What will astound you about this holster is its light weight. They weigh only 2 ounces. They add less bulk than any other holster I have found. These are the main reasons some people don't carry their weapons; it isn't comfortable. Well, it isn't comfortable being shot, either. It isn't comfortable to watch a family member or friend be victimized, because the bad guy has a gun, and you don't. Carry your weapon, people. These are violent times. My preference on the Fobus line is the passive retention model, without the Roto option, but by all means, if you know you want to change the cant of the holster, buy the Roto model. I just don't have experience with those. The 2 ounce passive retention paddle holster from Fobus is the most comfortable, lightweight, and durable holster I have ever used. It is also one of the fastest. Train with it before you rely on anything.

Don’t like the fit, will not be using it.
