Well since these are bicycle tubes, I'm goona go out on a limb and say no, I don't think these bicycle tubes are going to fit in your 2005 Chevy Equinox. Since it's a car. And not a bicycle.

will this work with baby trend tire?

It should as long as you buy the right size. I used mine in a baby trend tire.

What is the shelf life of this tube? How long can I keep it in my saddle pack before I have to use it?

Tough to say. Box says two years from the date of installation. I just pulled the second tube out of the box ~18 months after I bought them and it came with a hole that formed at a crease in the tube as it was packaged in the box, so I'm already down one out of the gate.
