Perfect escargot dishes. Very good quality at a reasonable price point. I have used them 4 times already and they are perfect. Highly recommended.

Used for tiny cherry pies. and snails. separately of course.A light coat of Egg Yoke holds a thin pie crust in place while letting the top pop up, while cooking.

Got these today and while they served the purpose and worked, but not perfectly. They are a good bit smaller than expected especially if you are accustomed to those used in local restaurants that the cooking area actually is 6.5 inches accross for standard servers NOT using the length of the handle added in to make it sound larger on paper. These are 4.5 inches accross and while a single escargot can fit in each reservoir there is little room for a larger amount of sauce for baking if you want enough to dip bread in as is typically done for this appetizer. NOTE: the seller does say in listing 6.5 inches WITH HANDLE which is a sneaky selling tactic as it doesn't immediately register that means the dish is smaller than an average sized similar product in the USA or European restaurants. (these are made in China) The pictures listed show all sorts of other dishes that are much larger and aren't comparable of the actual dish sent. Picture is magnified in size for sales listing purposes. Would not recommend - Reluctantly Keeping these (cost more to ship back than worth) and will use for serving as "cute" presentation dish after escargot have been cooked in a larger dish! I ordered these for my son for his birthday. He loves eating weird things, so I thought he might enjoy trying escargot. I got him an escargot gift package with a can of snails, some sherry vinegar, black garlic and these pans. It was a unique gift and he loved it!These pans look a bit red in the photo, but they are brown. It's a very pretty color. They are adorably small, which is perfect for a single serving.They came packaged well with no defects.

I like the handle.but the holes are a bit too deep, compared to my other dishes.
