Early Literacy in Action: The Language-Focused Curriculum for Preschool

I came across this book in my library and showed it to my d-i-l who homeschools the grandbabies. The first half is geared to teachers and testing, but the second half gives day to day activities and ideas for parents (and teachers) to teach their preschool children with fun and educational means. It is a great source of ideas for field trips and how to tie the trips into educational themes. What a goldmine for homeschoolers who are just starting and aren't sure how to tie it all together. This book would be a great source and help.

Very useful book, filled with good ideas and practical tips for engaging lesson plans.
