I understand it said clear but shows silver bottom on most of the photos. And thirdly I used it last night for the first time. Popped it on the side as I was walking off I heard a shatter. Went back in and it had completely smashed!! It was the only thing on the kitchen side. Ok, so if you are paying £22 for two glasses you need to look after them, These are not in the "use every day cupboard" they have their own shelf in my kitchen with a glass front. I use them for special evenings with friends. I would never put them in the dishwasher and cleaning them by hand is fine, you just need to be careful. Do one at a time with nothing else .Yes they are fragile, but they are well worth it, the wow factor from people when they receive their glass is lovely so yes i would recommend 100%.
