It looks good, feels good in the hand (quite weighty for its size). It retains heat very well, without transfering it to the outer surface and draws like a dream. I have quite a few pipes, and frankly its the cheaper chinese ones I prefer most. These do appear to be handmade, as each is engraved with the Makers name and month of manufacture. The bowl and stem fit together perfectly. The stem fits a 9mm filter snugly, and is easy to clean. The only possible drawback I could find is that the bowl is a tad small. This is not a suprise as is clearly stated in the description. Buy it, its great ( i have two from this manufacturer and they are both as good as each other). I had to buy the second pipe from elsewhere as Amazon did not stock the model I wanted.
