Biotin is a must-have supplement for me that does so much more than improve hair, skin and nails -- although that trio is the primary reason I take it. Since the maximum daily dose is 10,000 mcg, this formula comes within that range at the halfway mark with 5,000 mcg per gummy, but reaches the maximum dose with 2 gummies. That said, I only take 1 gummy per day, rather than the bottle's suggested 2 gummies per day, because Biotin is already included in my daily vitamin and other supplements. 2 gummies would put me over the 10,000 mcg threshold including my other Biotin sources. Always bear in mind all sources of a vitamin or supplement when adding it to your daily intake. Toxicity or the side effects of an accidental overdose is no joke.This smooth form of gummy is my fave, without the granulated sugar coating found on most gummies that make them seem more like candy than what they actually are. The 3g of added sugars isn't ideal, but that's the tradeoff with gummies, but this version contains about half as much sugar as most gummies. The good news is that these gummies ARE NOT STICKY in the bottle or on the teeth.The strawberry flavor is pleasant but doesn't really taste like strawberry to me, and the gummies aren't crumbly either. Chewing totally pulverizes them in the mouth, which is surprising since that isn't the norm. As a 30 day supply of 2 gummies per day, or a 60 supply of only 1 gummy per day, the $10 price tag is reasonably priced and you'll still get way more than the average suggested daily dose of 30 mcg/per day. The overkill dosage here isn't necessary, but neither is it harmful.I believe wholeheartedly in the benefits of Biotin and have been taking the supplement consistently for several years. My skin, hair and nails are a testament to it. If you already take Biotin, this formula is worth it. Even you are adding Biotin to your health regimen for the first time, these gummies are a good way to start.MADE IN U.S.A. I really like these, they taste great! I really don’t like the extra 3grams of sugar however, I wish they used Stevia. I can’t stand taking pills, but I really hate the idea of the extra sugar for no reason, they CAN make without real sugar. So I finished these off, and now taking a capsule instead.
