I was stuck between sizes and went with the smaller of the two. The fit is excellent. It's easy to get on and off Cody(my Weim). The support is clearly good and at his age he needs all he can get. I use his own chest/body collar rather then the more basic straps system that comes with it. Clearly more comfortable, while being more supportive than other hip braces. It took Cody about two days to get used to having it on. He was walking better but the extra support gave him an alien feel so he would default to a sit posture immediately. When I give him a dental chew bone, which he loves, he immediately takes it to a safer more personal place in the house so I'd use those to get him used to walking around with the new brace on. Tricky. A+

I was so-o-o looking forward to receiving this for my dog and was GREATLY disappointed with this product. It is poorly designed and sized. My large dog (65 lbs) was strangled by the harness. The hips pads are useless for support; their design does nothing that can provide support. There are many products of this type for humans that this device could have borrowed from that actually work, too bad it did not.

All it did was make my dog fall over. I measured him three times before ordering, tried multiple placements and adjustments to find the sweet spot, and all it did was stress my dog out.

The media could not be loaded.  My Samoyed is 14 years old and has hip dysplasia and arthritis. I don't use this product every day in fear my dog will become totally dependent on the brace. However, on days his arthritis really flares up and he is limping, I put on the Hip Eez and you can easily see how much more stable he is taking his morning walk. Yes, he is also able to do "his business" while wearing the brace. The only problem I initially had was trying to find how to correctly position the brace and how tight it should be. With a little trial and error, we figured it out. He confidently pranced around once it was put on correctly. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

The harness has too much stiff & sticky Velcro. I have weak hands, and the Velcro sticks to every part of the harness as you’re applying it to the pet, and is extremely hard to peel loosen. In addition on walks the Velcro picks up every piece of green trash that the pet brushes against.
