This product is a must have to easily cut through colostomy or Ostomey adhesive. Scissors are impossible to use. This tool cuts through the adhesive like butter.

Clean cuts, easier than angled scissors, easier on arthritis.
The holes it cuts are clean and it's easy to use. The angled scissors would flare up my arthritis after cutting holes for a couple of flanges. Not these. It was easy to pre-cut a stack of flanges for my to-go bag. Buy several - one for your home, to-go bag, car, etc.

No Offense, but TERRIBLE! Not worth the time or cost (even if Free!)
I was hoping this cutter would work. Sadly, it doesn’t work at all. I immediately found it pushes the glue/wafer material rather than cutting it, so it ends up making VERY JAGGED edges!This devices is basically a Sewing Stitch Remover and that’s where and what it shines doing, imho it totally & disappointingly stinks as an Ostomy Pouch Hole Cutter…Look else where for your answer…Good Luck!

easy to use
This is easy to use. My mom has a colostomy bag and I have to cut them for the memory care facility. I have arthritis in my hands and this makes it easier than scissors.

Quality of product
I like this product as it is hard for me to use scissors to cut the Pouch Hole. The only problem is after it is used maybe after 15 pouches the handles break. Not sure what needs to be done but I hope you will be able to correct this flaw as I really do like the product.Thank you. Linda Kenny

Great tool for trimming Urostomy hole or ripping the hem out of a pair of pants or dress.
I've used this type of tool for hem ripping while sewing for years. I never had such a good-sized one, though. This one fits in the palm of my hand, so is perfect.Best of all, for me, is that it truly can be used to trim a hole to the right size in an Urostomy flange. Who would have imagined multitasking with sewing and survival tools?

Doesn't stay sharp!
I bought two of these little gadgets thinking that they would be better than the scissors I was provided with (they weren't sharp enough & not very 'maneuverable'). They worked fine for a while but they got really dull & would just not cut cleanly anymore! It's too bad though because it's a really good idea. Too bad there isn't a way to make them sharp again!
