My daughter's girlfriend is afraid of spiders, so at Christmas I bought this to put a gift in for her. I added a hand-full of plastic spiders as well. She lives out of state, so I didn't get to see her reaction when she opened it. My daughter said she screamed & threw the box across the room, as my daughter laughed. Oh how I wish I could've seen this!

I put my arachnophobic best friend’s Christmas presents in here and sent it to them in the mail. They freaked out and threw the box ten feet away from them as soon as they unwrapped it enough to read what it was, and the box survived unharmed. 15/10, would buy again.

Used this on my nephew (in his late 20’s) and who is deathly afraid of spiders. He thought it was an actual gag gift of spider eggs and refused to open it (I put an XBox game in the box). When he finally got over his shock, he did also have a great laugh with all of us (and the XBox game was also a hit).

Loved this one. Gave it to my 4 year old grandson. He was so excited! My daughter and son-in-law just sat glaring at me and then began to make every excuse why it had to stay with us. Then they began to read the details on the box and got even more upset. Eventually my son-in-law mustered the courage to open the box and was very relived! If you read far enough down into the details, it pretty much tells you it's a joke, but it's a lot of fun seeing people squirm!!!

Purchased the spider box to conceal a video game gift. My daughter is really scared of spiders and I thought it would be funny to hide her most anticipated Christmas gift inside. She unwrapped the box and started crying thinking we expected her to raise spiders... once we fessed up to the gag tears of fear turned into tears of laughter.
