My giant breed Newfoundland absolutely loves the Sam’s yams. I think it is a better treat than just dog biscuits. I learned about these yams from my veterinarian.

The media could not be loaded. I had an olde English bulldog and now I have a pit - so heavy chewers. They both LOVE these treats .I tried making themself in the dehydrator. Our Border Collie loves these. We use them daily as a treat to leave her with while we go to work. There is no concern leaving her that she will choke or injure her teeth with these. It’s a good routine- softens the blow of being left at home alone :) The biggest benefit for us is how regular it makes her stools. It bulks them up and helps her to defecate on a predictable schedule, great for anyone living in an apartment with no yard to just let her out in. They are pricey for us, but ultimately worth the cost. This brand is thicker and more chewy sweet potatoes than other brands we have tried which we have found to be brittle. 5 stars for sure!

My dogs ate these up in seconds. def wont keep them busy for long but they are healthy!

I bought the Big Boyz by mistake. I have a small dog and didn't notice these are much longer and thicker. He loved them anyway. He likes to shred and chew, so he has a big time with these. My vet said to never give rawhide as it can block the intestines. This is a perfect way to give Gus a way to fill his need to chew and shred. Dehydrated yams, no preservatives, no bleaching of the rawhide....a very good treat and he loves the taste. If you get the Big Boyz it's just a bigger challenge for the little guy. Perfect for larger dogs and a good way to clean their teeth. Lots of fiber for them, so no chance of constipation. It is very hard to find rawhide (which I don't use anymore) made in the USA. The bleaching process is not something I want my dog to sink his pretty little teeth into. I love SAM'S YAMS and so does Gus, oh he wants to comment too............ok Gus, tell the good folks............WOOF, WOOF, WOOF, I'd take a tram to get a yam,,,,,,,,,,,,ok Gus, thank you for your comments.

I gave these to my 1 yr old English Mastiff. I was looking for a rawhide alternative and she loves sweet potato, so I thought they would be fine. She loves it, but could not digest it. I gave her one yesterday and one the day before. Today, her morning poop was full of compressed bits of the potato. The potato was also still hard. It also changed the consistency of her poop for the past 2 days. It was the only change to her diet, so it's definitely the cause. Her poops were very loose and frequent. She has never had an issue with sweet potato before. I'm thankful that she's such a large dog (147lb) and was able to pass the compressed bits of potato, otherwise I fear this would have turned into an emergency vet visit for us.

I have a French bulldog puppy. She is a pretty aggressive tour, so I love this product. It’s a lot of fiber to help her go to the bathroom. And it’s a single ingredient item, so I don’t have to worry about unnecessary chemicals or additives.
