I first began using this product and the toner in 1996 as recommended by a dermatologist while I was using prescription Retin-A gel daily. But your skin may be ultra sensitive. You can check with your doctor who prescribed the Retin-A.

I'm not sure of the percentage of glycolic acid. I have used this cleanser for 40 years. I'm 86 and my skin looks like I'm 60. I also use retina A every night!
