The flavor is a pleasant mild sweetness. Whether or not myo-inositol supplementation is actually beneficial is up to the consumer to determine. From my anecdotal experience, I feel there might be a subtle effect, but it could also have been placebo. I felt as though taking moderate doses of inositol daily had an effect on my thinking that would be comparable to an extra 15 or 30 minutes of sleep or the difference between fasting versus eating half a granola bar, but with the effect spread out over the day. There is nothing incredible or shocking about it, but it could be a decently healthy additive to one's diet, especially as a substitute for something unhealthy.
