While this item is solid and well made for the most part, I purchased it based on the description of a thicker gold plate than others. Well I have had it for 3 weeks now and the plate is wearing off already. Edit I contacted the seller and was impressed with how they handled the situation. They refunded my purchase quickly which allowed me to purchase a replacement

Bought this bracelet for a birthday present for myself. On December 14, 2026 and then just 5 to 6 weeks time. The gold is rubbing off and it looks tarnished very disappointed. Don’t waste your money. It’s not worth it.

I recently purchased two pieces of jewelry from Amazon and fullfilled by Lifetime Jewelry. A month later the clasp on the bracelet started losing its finish. I wrote a complaint review about this at Amazon. Immediately after it published Lifetime was in contact with me about their concern. Since that time they have been nothing but fantastic on fixing this issue. Without even asking I have a new bracelet on the way and them constantly keeping in touch with me and updates. Wow, what a refreshing response from them. Good small business.

The gold rubs off in just a few weeks and starts looking tarnished. Really disappointed. I even purchased two bracelets, and both started fading very quickly. I thought gold plated meant, not solid gold, but plated with real gold, and real gold doesn't tarnish. So unhappy with this purchase. Wish I could get my money back.
