What is the net weight? This answer has been asked 2X but not answered!

The net weight is irrelevant to the amount of sausage made since the weight depends on the amount of salt added for safe keeping.

What is the net weight, really?

I’ve found that I can run roughly 100lbs of sausage with one packet of these casings.

Are these casings already in a salt brine or are they dried?
