My son uses this blender EVERY SINGLE DAY to create smoothies. He adds all kinds of stuff: carrots, frozen grapes, spinach and other greens, dates, chia seeds, and every kind of frozen fruit you can think of. No matter what he throws in it, this blender is powerful and blends up all the ingredients, fresh or frozen, effortlessly. It is loud, but I'm okay with that because it does a fantastic job of blending anything we throw at it. It is also a nice size and can blend up enough for multiple servings.

Fantastic blender that is very powerful (1000 WATTS) that will break down any ingredients, and surprisingly far less noisy than I expected. This has all the features, four convenient blending options, extra-large pitcher, a lot of power, and stacked blades, needed at an affordable price. I grew tired of the limited size of my old Nutribullet Pro and how loud it was. The Nutribullet will set off my Apple Watch for noise threshold of 90 decibels. The Ninja blender is much less noisy and does not set off my Apple Watch. Easy on the ears, easy to use, and well made. Has a non-slip bottom at the motor base and allows for power cord storage at the back. I was unaware at time of purchase that there was a pouring spout (capped) on the lid, an extremely nice feature. This Ninja Professional Blender has a very nice extra sized pitcher (72 oz / 9 cups – maximum liquid capacity of 64 oz., ) with easy-to-read markings. The lid allows for addition of small sized ingredients through the provided pouring spout while blending and has a locking mechanism with easy release button. All BPA free construction. The stacked blade assembly (three blade sets) ensures perfect blending of all the ingredients without relying on the pulling of the mixture down to the lowest blades. I blend a lot of frozen fruit such as blueberries, raspberries, bananas, and cranberries which don’t even begin to tax the blender motor. Extremely easy to clean and use. The pitcher, lid, and blade assembly are all dishwasher safe. Three blending choices, "processing & mixing", "blending & ice crushing", and "pureeing & liquefying" are all that I need. And of course, the addition of a "pulse" function makes this a complete and incredibly useful blender. Very happy with this blender.

Here is some context for this review - our 18-month-old has several food allergies, which has led us to need ingenious ways to pack nutrition into each meal. My wife (the one with this ingenuity) made several smoothie recipes our kiddo loves! But ... our old-school blender broke! Enter the Ninja NJ601AMZ! This blender has helped to improve our routine of making our kiddo's smoothies with its capacity, power, and noise level. - Capacity We have no problem making seven eight-ounce smoothies with this Ninja. We can do one batch of smoothies every one to two days. This saves time for us - a big thing as young parents! - Power There is loads of power under the hood of this Ninja! It can mix smoothies with hard, frozen fruit and ice with ease. There are three settings for power, but we rarely need to use the third (and highest) level. - Noise We make our kiddo's smoothies when they are in the kitchen with us or sleeping! Our little one is not troubled when we turn on the Ninja while they are in the kitchen. Also, even in our small house with just a few thin walls between the kitchen and nursery, this Ninja doesn't wake our light sleeper. This helps when we only have time at night to make the next day's smoothies ... or if we are craving a frozen margarita when we get the kiddo down. Overall, if you are thinking of getting a blender, this Ninja is a good "blend" of value and function!

I had the 2015 version of this model. The old one needed to be held in place otherwise it would move while blending. The 1 day I forgot to hold it, it fell of the counter while I was blending and the lid broke. Buying replacement parts was almost as expensive as buying a newer model, so I just bought a new one. This new model is great! It has all the power of the previous model, but I they've resigned it so it won't move while blending. Highly recommend!

Got this on a great deal. Love it. Super easy to clean. Do watch your fingers on the blades as it's only a matter of time till you cut yourself. Not overly loud and very powerful

Súper fácil de usar, pocas funciones, pero son las mas necesarias, el vaso tiende a rallarse mucho al tallarlo después de las lavadas, pero no afecta en lo mas mínimo su funcionamiento, su mecanismo de bloqueo ayuda a evitar derrames al no dejar operar el equipo al menos que esta perfectamente posicionado y cerrado

I’ve been using this Ninja blender for a couple of months after our previous blender died, and it’s been a great replacement. It blends extremely well and handles smoothies and frozen ingredients without any issues. It’s also very easy to clean, and being dishwasher safe is a big plus. For the performance you get, the price feels very reasonable compared to other blenders in this range. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit large, but it hasn’t been a big deal for us and is easy to store when not in use. Overall, it’s been reliable and powerful, and I’d buy it again.
