Seems durable and has more than one way to wear it
Nice leather with quite a bit of strong Velcro on the inside of the fold so that it can be very firmly attached to a belt, as a secondary attachment or primary depending on your use, there is a strong metal belt clip in the back. The shape will accommodate almost all standard badges other than those that are rectangular ,fairly round or a large star. You could use it for some different bad shapes but the profile is going to be the same. There is plenty of room for the pin back to go into the case and operate there. The chain seems relatively sturdy but I was never a fan of wearing them around the neck for what I think are obvious reasons. There is not a cut out so if one attempts to attach a flat badge it is going to take an adhesive to make it sturdy enough to stay on in a high activity situation.
