Needed a check valve for a water overflow pipe
My house has potable water tanks that supply the house, with an overflow pipe on the exterior of the house. When I moved in, this overflow pipe and my tanks were open to the entire world (bugs, birds, squirrels, the elements, etc). I needed a way to seal off this overflow in one direction and this duckbill check valve was PERFECT. It still allows water to flow past at a low pressure, but keeps my tanks free from critters and debris!
