Effective, Efficient, and Easy to use
Effective, that's the only word I can think of when it comes to this product. It's an easy-to-use product; there's not allot of difficulty on how to use this product. Dump into the correct container, add water, check day to day and add water/empty as neeed. The durability of the product is decent, every time I think it's wearing out, I just added water, and it was back to working. The ability to simply dump the product out and refill is a plus; there's no need to be thorough on cleansing the container this goes into.Size; I found that using only half the bag goes a long way - using to fill two containers versus just one as the directions state. The con's:The smell is bad, and I found that both in powder form and liquid it's unpleasant. As a powder, it has a strong mothball like smell that stains the skin with the odor as such. Once wet, the smell is putrid - somewhere along the lines of an outhouse meets raw decomposing matter. Although this has it's benefits, the importance of keeping this away from your windows, patio, or anywhere you want to sit is highly recommended.Disposing of the remains is somewhat important, if the vector load is low (few flies) I'll allow the water to dry/evaporate out, if not, I wait for the trash truck to come and throw it in the trash right before it is picked up.Ultimately this product is very effective in attracting flies, and as such I will continue using.

Massacres flies
This stuff really works! My city backyard is constantly swarmed with flies and within a day of using this solution, the container was half-filled. I've filled multiple containers since first getting the trap - it's great that you can throw out the dead flies (gross) and keep using the same trap with these refills. Absolutely worth it if you want to massacre hundreds of flies in a couple days and sit on your patio in peace. The smell isn't great, so I wouldn't bring it inside, but I've sat within 10 feet of it many times and haven't noticed the smell outside.

Absolutely disgusting - and absolutely effective
These things smell like death. I’m not kidding - after a couple days, you’ll be convinced something crawled into your yard and died. BUT… they work. Like, really work. I started with the kit that came with a reusable trap and a few refills, and quickly realized I’d need more of these on hand. The smell is awful, cleanup is gross, but nothing has ever handled flies this well. I’ll keep using them all summer because the results are 100% worth it. Also worth noting we live out in the country and have a flock of chickens so fly control is an absolute must.

It worked
I decided to purchase a fly trap solution from Amazon, but after reading numerous reviews about the bad smell and the hassle of cleaning for reuse, I ended up creating my own trap instead. Here’s my experience with both the product and my DIY solution.DIY Trap Construction: To make my trap, I cut the top off an apple juice bottle, flipped it upside down, and placed it inside the bottle. I sealed the edges with tape and used a bit of tape around the opening to ensure the hole wasn't too large. This method worked surprisingly well.Effectiveness of the Fly Trap Solution: I used the purchased fly trap solution in my DIY container. While it did catch some flies, I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t attract as many as I expected. However, it performed adequately, and I was relieved to find that the solution didn't smell as bad as other reviewers had mentioned. Conclusion: Overall, I would recommend the fly trap solution for its effectiveness, but I believe you can easily create a container at home that works just as well. Given my experience, I wouldn't suggest spending money on the pre-made traps; a DIY approach is simpler and more effective for my needs.

Stinks Just As It's Meant To.
Great invention the reusable fly traps. I currently hang five arond the bk yard in full sun (important) it fills quickly.Flys spread disease and filth wherever they light. I mix bait in trap with Warm-Not-Hot-Water since it's Yeast Stir It...The stench of the content's mix of bait and dead flies keeps them buzzing and luring 24/7. Add water as needed.Sun's heating certainly turns on the attractant's 'aroma'. Place the traps away from residence 25' downwind.Plan Ahead how/where you will dump the jars contents. It will be full of maggots and foul foul odors! U R Warned...

Gotta catch them all
Flies loves this nasty stuff. It’s easy to set up and clean. It catches so many flies that I sometimes wonder if does more harm than good. It seems to last longer than the package says. The only downside is it smells rank. Better use a nose plug

These traps are amazing!
Amazing the number of flies these catch, I had the refillable before but it was a pain to clean since the liquid smeels so bad and the thousands of flies inside. These you close and throw in the garbage, they work great
