Nichijou - My Ordinary Life The Complete Series + Digital [Blu-ray]
M**.
Multidimensional anime comedy.
If you know about Nichijou you'll understand. But if you're a "newbie" then imagine at least 4 level's of jokes stacked and mixed in with each other and then you have Fate/Stay level of animation. A Masterpiece.

Brilliant but utterly bonkers anime!
Nichijoi (My Ordinary Life) is great fun but absolutely bonkers and utterly surreal! The main characters are very cute (especially Nano Shinonome the robot). I love the style (which is like a younger children's anime) but there are some bizarre things in the story which might upset younger children. I think the age rating of 12 is about right. I would recommend it to any manga and anime fans :-)

Great Anime - Not for Small Children!
Nichijou translates as 'normal', but this set of stories is far from that. There are nominally 26 episodes, but each is broken down into more or less four little vignettes, making a total of about 100.Very funny to watch, but it can get a bit overwhelming, so I would advise moderation - maybe one disc at a time, with breaks in between? I'm not going to go into the stories here, but suffice to say they are entertaining, and that's what it's all about, isn't it? If you're in the mood, it is a fun thing to watch to escape from 'nichijou'. As for kids watching it - in an early episode a young schoolgirl draws a picture of herself giving some guy a blowjob, so you do the math. It is very subtle though and from behind, so all you see is the back of the girl's head, at a certain level, with the guy's hand on top of it. Hmmm ... very weird, but I doubt many kids would catch it. Anyway - be warned. Highly recommended for todays teens and over.P.S. The talking cat is a spitter for Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service!!!
